  1. It was actually 34hz. We were trying to read from the screen & thought it was 35. Like there's a big difference. Next time we'll do some testing down lower to like 28hz & see how well the score holds up.
  2. Crazy thing is it really doesn't lose that much with the passenger door open so it will make a great Bass Boxer.
  3. The crazy thing is we didn't do any real testing to figure out peak frequency. Just a quick low volume sweep then play the first tone on the Ipod. And that was only about 2/3 volume. Subs were barely moving.

  5. Got some preliminary #s from testing today but I'll let Rob tell ya'll what they are. I will give ya'll a hint that this thing will be EPIC! I don't think anyone else in the history of car audio has been this loud at this low of a frequency. And it's no where near finished or even tuned in properly & only took it up about 2/3 volume. Basically it's done just enough to play. Also Rob has a couple vids of some serious hair tricks, one with the vehicle sealed. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/hairtrick.gif http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/hairtrick.gif http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/hairtrick.gif
  6. I really didn't do that on purpose. Was just testing out the fit and bam! Cock & balls. Now I can't stop saying it.

  8. It's a strapping module, line driver, remote bass control, bass boost, crossover, subsonic, etc. It doesn't have to be used as a strapping module. It can be used more as a controller of multiple amps.
  9. Perfect working condition. Rca outputs started to get loose so my brother put a drop of glue on them all and it stained the chrome on the side. I guarantee everything works perfect.
  10. We're working on a new build for the Excursion. 16 Sundown Audio sa-12s powered by 4 saz-3500s. Box sketch Close up of ports. Three 8" custom flared ports. Cutting the wood Laminating. The entire box will be at least two layers thick. Three & four layers in certain places. Starting the router work for the ports. I call this pic Cock & Balls. Lots more work to do. I barely got started on the port work. No where near done with that piece & I have two more identical pieces to build. Stay tuned...
  11. This thing will have no trouble doing hair tricks. Believe it or not the subs really don't move that much. As far as vehicle flex goes, well a LOT of work was done ahead of time to make sure this thing didn't rip itself apart. Don't worry guys. Ya'll will gradually see more and more of this truck as it gets finished up & tuned in.
  12. I ain't even gonna lie, it was. That was moving so much air it felt like I was inside a tornado. Like sticking your head out the window driving 100+mph. Also that was only 2/3 way up on the volume & the subs were barely moving. This shit is ridiculous loud. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/hairtrick.gif
  13. first you draw a rectangle, then use the push/pull tool to add thickness, you can type in the exact thickness you want into the box in the lower right hand corner

  15. Link to strapping amps with some nice pics. http://www.sundownaudio.com/index.php/freq...-questions.html
  16. Strap the amps. Don't waste your money on a Maxx-Link.
  17. Play a tone, put a dmm on the amplifier output to read ac voltage, turn gain knob, set them both to match.

  19. Yes 16v setup. 6 saz-3000s @ 0.5ohm on 16v = lotzapowa!
  20. There are a lot of noobs that assume all 3500w amps are the same and/or use the same board & parts just cause they look similar. This shows positively that is not the case.
