  1. meh, ive been play and playing and playing, but the more I do the more I feel like they kept it too much like crysis 2
  2. As far as this MP goes, i hate how they made it much more console friendly, like killing people is much more difficult the way they have this set up, I do much much better with a controller on my xbox than PC, and theres still too much extra crap in it, just give us power struggle you idiots! they need to make the big maps again! stop building call of duty like shit that nobody wants! Bring back all the suit modes!!!!!!! stop making the level system count!!!!!!!!!! its so simple, why don't they just listen?!? Its much better than the Cry2 MP, but its not very different and I feel like it might become that again over time, they really need to make some serious changes before release, because auto armor will be the downfall of this game....
  3. thanks for the spoiler dick head... hey fool, if you watched any preview/demo/update/trailer, you would have seen that it is no secret that prophet is in the game.........................................................................its not a spoiler............................... thats why I dont watch trailers. they always have spoilers. well thats out of my hands, I'm not like that and I dont know many people who are, but sorry if you think its spoiled.
  4. thanks for the spoiler dick head... hey fool, if you watched any preview/demo/update/trailer, you would have seen that it is no secret that prophet is in the game.........................................................................its not a spoiler...............................
  5. Really??? I have a 3770k and a 2gb 6950 but I can run it on high with AA 4x and still pulls 30fps?? what are you running for the cooling?
  6. Maybe if the DMZ isn't working for you, try to just do the QoS part, I had my best results with that before. I still havent tried this new setup on blackops because I've had no time between work and school this week but as soon as I do ill let you know.
  7. I've hit about 500 tabs before Some were duplicates, since I forgot I had already opened the item in another tab for later reading. If i use her PC to print a power point or something I swear on my life that sometimes she has so many windows open that it takes me like 30 seconds of clicking minimize as fast as possible just to get to the desktop or something, and it you minimize the browser with the tab you were on, forget it, its like trying to find the needle in the needle stack.................... And thanks for clarifying Sheena, I forgot to put that in the directions but yes, a reboot is required with all of these big changes. I have mine set to the DMZ and everything is running good, I downloaded the DLC pack @1.86GB in about 6 minutes and i had my pc on doing things the whole time too, so not bad at all As far as connection problems with DMZ and other devices I've been clear, if there was an issue my mom would have bitched about it by now.....
  8. I also tried what Sheena said but I'm waiting for my mom to get off her laptop and desktop until I can evaluate it fairly, she could lag a office buildings T4 LAN with how many windows and tabs she has open at once........................ Edit: Even with her on both PC's, I still don't have any lag so thats a +
  9. First double post ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nnnoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.....
  10. Thanks man, so basically it would be best to just do the DMZ host and leave the xbox to automatic? My only question is would I have to set the DMZ host to the xbox IP every time I start up? since you have to set it to the specific IP, or will it remain the same once I set it the first time? Depending on your router doing this can cause issues with other devices on your network, just beware of that. I thought that the only issues happened if you set a PC as the host since you would be more exposed to hacking? But that xbox's were alright?
  11. When I had my PS3 I just set the clock forward to delay it, but you have to continually do it, takes like 30 seconds. But here's what some sources say: Bypass Method – This is a very simple solution to the problems brought by the limitation. You may do the following: Do not connect your console to the internet before you play the legit video. Disable the internet connection by going to the settings, internet connection and the selecting “Disable”. This will prevent your console from contacting the copyright servers. Edit The Settings – Altering the settings can allow your console to play the legit videos hindered by piracy prevention system. Follow the steps below to get rid of the problem. Launch you PlayStation 3 until the main menu appears. You will then see a horizontal axis scroll it to “Settings” that has a toolbox icon. When you’re at the “Setting List” select “Sound Settings” and then the “Audio Output Settings”. By doing the step above you can adjust the audio settings to prevent the system from detecting a frequency which can’t be heard by human hears. When the TV connector screen appears you may then click on “Optical Digital”. You will then see check marks adjacent to audio formats just fill them in to hinder the protection system from interrupting the videos played on burned DVD’s.
  12. Thanks man, I just hope something on the list can work for people. If anything they should attempt the QoS, it seems to be the most popular change.
  13. LOL very true, very true................ but xbox has all the friends...
  14. So I've been getting pretty sick of this fluery of games that have tried to implement some sort of lag compensation or some sort of game "evening" strategy that ends up ruining the game because of terrible hit detection and giving the advantage to the 5 year old spawn raper/camper/spammer. I especially hate how despite how good your internet connection may be, your xbox seems reluctant to make use of it all, so the kid with comcast 15mb plays as well as you somehow. If you have a separate modem/router then it probably isn't much of a problem if you directly hooked into the modem but I'm not really sure about all that because everything I have experimented with has been on a combined modem/router ActionTec M1424WR Rev.1 from Verizon FIOS on 75/35 with about 9-10ms ping. Now; this is my test with my mom's computer and laptop connected and busy, and my PC also on and busy, notice the drastic upload change and ping increase: To access your internet settings you have to find the router/modem in your network devices and I double click on mine and it opens up a webpage with a login and that gives me full access to all of the features and settings, I'm not sure what you have to do if using a different setup I have an xbox with direct ethernet into my actiontec and I noticed the other day that it said NAT was moderate for the first time, despite being OPEN forever before that. so to the google machine I went. There are many suggestions online and many people have said that certain things either improve or unimproved connection, from the things I experimented with, here is what I have found to work. 1. Set up a static IP address and change the DNS Servers. to do this go to the routers settings website -Then go to My Network -Then go to Network Connections on the left -Then go to Network (Home/Office) -Then click settings at the bottom -Scroll down to "End IP Address and change the last number to 200 while you are here go to DNS Server and select No DNS Server -Click apply to finalize the change -Next at the Network Connections screen click on Broadband Connection (Ethernet) or (Coax) whichever one says connected -Go to settings -Scroll down to DNS Servers and select "Use the following DNS server addresses" -Find the best servers (I used namebench which worked great) then enter new DNS addresses (put link below) http://code.google.c...3.1-Windows.exe -Next turn on your xbox and go to network settings and enter a manual IP address with the last number being anything above 200 on my xbox the IP address is 192.168.1.201 the first three numbers depend on the routers IP address and will be the same for every device connected to the router. Also manually enter the DNS addresses that you are using 2. I recommend setting your xbox as the DMZ Host, I've heard it doesn't do anything if you do QoS and port forward, but I did anyway. just go to firewall settings and click DMZ Host on the left and enter the IP address of the xbox Warning: this puts the DMZ host outside of the firewall 3. Next set up port forwarding for xbox live forward (this may be useless if you set up DMZ but i don't know if it can hurt) make sure you use the IP address that you gave to your xbox You'll see places to put different #'s: YOU WILL HAVE TO SEARCH FOR THE BEST #'s, people will post them so google it, it's different for different games. 4. Set up Quality of Service rules (QoS) (this part can be confusing, so just pay attention when doing it) -Probably makes the most noticeable improvement Here is a link from actiontec which very clearly explains how to do this, again it will be different for different people with different modems, routers, ISP's and whatnot, but hopefully this gives you and idea if possible. http://support.actio...nfigure_QoS.pdf IF YOUR XBOX STARTS TO HAVE CONNECTION ISSUES LIKE NOT BEING ABLE TO CONNECT AT ALL, OR YOUR INTERNET SCREWS UP, JUST RESET THEM BOTH AND IT SHOULD BE FINE. For your XBOX: go to Network settings>configure network>advanced settings>reset to factory Each router/modem is different so find a way to do a full reset of it to restore it. (not just unplug and plug in) If anything doesn't make sense here it's my bad, I'm not a network guru, but trying to get my ISP to help was hopeless. ****Maybe Sheena or N8 can notify me if anything I wrote doesn't make sense? It would sure help.***
  15. Luckily I had just bought a new HP with the nVidia 8800GT which was one of the only *normal consumer* video cards that could play it at max settings right when it was released, I still play today and it looks great, way better than that shitty black ops at least lol, and its 5 years older........
  16. *trying not to cut own throat with knife* Well.....to each his own. I guess.
  17. Excellent choices! I think that the PC community will still be the most fun to play with IMO, just because it originated there
  18. (I'm not trying to make this sound like a smartass answer) But, there's your problem. I tried to find a video for you, but apparently nobody records online gameplay for youtube? If you have an xfire theres a lot of cips there Just imagine it this way, If you played BF 3 or at least know what it's like, imagine that but even better looking, better playing, with more vehicles, more weapons, and a nano suit. Then take that and factor it by 10, and then !factorial! that product number, and that will get you to about 1/2 of how good crysis 1 MP was.
  19. Its just over a month away for the release of Crysis 3, and I can honestly say that while I have the highest expectations and hope, I still have my doubts because of the failure that was crysis 2........ Who plans on getting Crysis 3, it will be out on Feb.19 for all 3 consoles, I'll get a copy on both xbox and pc since all my friends are on xbox, but I'll do the hardcore setup gaming on the PC. If you havent played Crysis 1 and you did play crysis 2 you might not know what I'm talking about, but trust me when I say the sequel was beyond a let down for returning players. With the Negatives out of the way, how sick does Crysis 3 look! THANK GOD PROPHET IS BACK!!!!
  20. Guys guys guys, you're all taking it wayyy to hard on this kid. He just doesn't know any better. I mean, it's not his fault he's mentally challenged.
