2005 Ford Taurus: Anyone know of a company that makes an air bag for the rear that replace the coils? Or that fits inside the Coils to "help" keep ride height? I got too much speaker weight makes me look like I have SAS lol.

I've got a Kicker KX 350.4 4-channel amp for trade. Its the older version that was replaced by the ZX series. Looks good and runs great. Missing the 4 screws for the face plates but I can get some new once if needed. As far as the Ipod Im looking for... It has to be a dock type and it needs to have more than 8b of space. I did something similar maybe it might help you as well. Anyways what I did was, I made a surround of sorts. Basically it fits snug into the curves of trunk wall. Then I added an other piece to act as a separator. which gave me a flat surface to attach to my box. I put expanding foam in front of this piece where it touch the frame. I then Put my box in and added more foam to seal up where the box and wall meet. I still need to seal off the package tray area but its defiantly better than it was before. Suspension is tight son. I wonder if they do anything that would fit my Taurus... its in need of an ass lift. Too much junk in the trunk ect.. ect..

Couple of updates.... I added some expanding foam to the back side of the wall and the from side of the box. With gives it a nice seal. Painted it with some black spray paint but ran out lol.. Looks like burn marshmallows lol. And the wiring is nice and tidy now.. And i was gonna take a video... but dang camera died on me.... here is what I got before it died. Got some mean flex. Its still processing .. give it a bit.

Nah I don't think it will fall apart.. I did resin the outside of the box. I suppose I could break the top off and resin the inside if I have leaking problems. Main reason I used 6 ply with 1 smooth side was because the place in town doesn't carry MDF anymore. And the closest town that carries any is about an hour away and I have no truck lol. As far as the zip ties go yeah i plan on making them wires nicer just have to find my bag of zip ties that I have around here some where.

OK so.... I finally tracked down some good carpet. I ended up getting it from RTboxes.com comes 72" wide x 3 ft (1yard). Carpet has a light vinyl backing its pretty nice imho. OK so on with the pics i suppose. First off this is how I wired up the subs with 8ga. This is how i connected 2 8ga wire into 1 post terminal. Anyways I carpeted all the pieces. Box: Semi blow-through (trunk wall) w/e you wanna call it: Little space so the surround doesn't slap wood Fake floor

Well I decided to final rebuild mt box.. My last one was bad form scrap mdf. So its been long over due. Lol I got almost done with the box and forgot I didn't take any pictures... so bare with me. The Plans: 3ft³ per chamber 2.70ish after displacement. Tuned to 35hz. Liquid Nails Wood (made just for wood applications) has a resin base to it. So imho glue is a waste and not necessary if your gonna use Liquid nails. Now when I say use it i mean use it lol.. Use it as if it was wood glue... predrill your holes.. run a bead of liquid nails.. screw it together.. rinse repeat. The once u got you box pretty much together.. go back and some beads in all the corners. That box will take a sledge hammer to come apart.
