I beat on my copper coil hdc318 with an aq2200 with zero issues, woofer never got warm. Supposedly the copper coil woofers are more sensitive than the aluminum version. I had mine in 5.75 @ 38hz. It got loud but it really could have used a bigger box or more power

I cut out the bed vents. Covered the hole that was left with some sheet metal and self tappers, then threw some dynamat over that. They sealed up good and are solid.

I sealed mine up, my ears pop when I turn on the heater/ac now from the pressure build up so I just crack the window when the heat/ac is on or put the fan on recirculate
