Well I'm keeping my same box for now til I can come up on how to do a ported box with the same kinda box design as the 1 I have now

So a dc 2k should do fine? Wat bout other brands compared to this? I just want to give these subs the rite power at rms watts

I bought 2 dc audio 12s lvl4 dual 1ohm. I was wondering Wat amps will b perfect to power these 2? As of now my setup it a stock alt (70-90amp @ 14volts) with a interstate battery (1100cca I think) with 0ga stinger cables for ground, engine ground, and alt power, and power wire to rear batteries (kinetik hc600 and hc1200) And the amps I have now r 2 Kenwood x1200m amps (but I'm thinking of selling these and changing it up with the amp) And the box the. DC 12s will b n will b a sealed box too. Any advice will b helpful for wen I receive the subs Thanx

These amps seem to be rly good and push quite of bit of power but I kno to get louder I need a bigger box Ya I take care of my system I spend too much on them not to care for it. But u r rite I do need a oscope. I just try to do it by ear to listen for distortion on the speakers wen volume is up

Kenwood excelon kfc-xw1224d woofers Bought these thinking it could handle the amp With bass knob but never rly used it cuz I couldn't figure out how to have the 2 amps on that 1 bass knob at the same time And my gains were at 0.7 (that's a little past half way up)

Ok kool I must have missed that dual 1ohm wiring =2ohms but that makes this a lot easier for me Cuz I blew 1 of my other subs and wanting sumthing that WILL last My last subs rated 1000rms and 2000max So much for that! But my other 1 is still running strong... for now

Hey I have 2 Kenwood excelon x1200m amps and I'm wanting to get 2 lvl 3 or 4 subs and put 1 sub on each amp. The lvl 3 comes in a dual 4ohm which gets 2ohm load from amp rated at 1200watts rms. This is where I wanna be at as of final ohm load. But lvl 3 max at 1200watts So I'm looking at the lvl 4 subs But I only see dual 2 and 1 ohm That means my amp won't be at a final ohm load of 2ohms which is where I wanna be at. So question is there a way to get a lvl4 sub with dual 4ohms so I can reach my goal for now? Or aNy other way to get Wat I'm looking for? Different brand subs like dc audio?
