Kenwood 2010 model xr1 reference series amp 500watts @ 4ohms 600watts @ 2ohms 1200watts@1ohms (says 1 ohms compatible) But this is wat I used for my P2 subs at 2ohm load

Did the big 3 and charged my rear battery and it seems to help a lot!!! My rear battery was at 11.8 volts and front was 12.6 volts

Ok no need for a battery no more I bought a kinetik hc600 new from amazon for $74 and a used kinetik hc1200 for $80 from local sell Thanx every1 for offers

Damn car audio is so complex and expenses but so addictive tho!!! So even with high amped batterys with stock 80amp alt I'm still gonna see problems other than charging both batterys? And if I put a isolater(or something that keeps the current going 1 way only) between the batterys help at all?

Ok I never messed with 14volt batterys b4 so that's all new to me. But I know a 12volt battery can't be hooked to a 14v battery without changing anything. But I'm just looking at my options for my budge. But as of now I am looking for a high amp audio battery to help my dim of the car

Damn didn't realize how much they go for. Bout if I do two 14volt batterys (1 in front and 1 n back) with my stock alt will my car still run just fine? And my alt will b ok too?

Ok took the cap out and it helped a lot but still have the motor lug issue and dimming lights but will do the big 3 in a few days

Plz let me kno wat battery u have Plz note the dims, amps, and capacity. And plz be a 12v system Don't matter wat brand battery

Is there any HO alt for my 91 240sx (ka24de)? Or any that can be made for at least 250amp output? Or any other bolt on alts from different cars besides the Nissan quest car? Or can mine be rebuild for higher output?

Ya I heard bout the quest alt but 20 more amps isn't rly worth my time to try and install that with custom bracket but ya it will help just a little. If that's the only alt I can use then ill do that, but plz let me kno how that caddy alt works out.(and u r using KA24DE motor rite?) It's hard to keep the electric system up if I can't get a good alt lol

Ok just never had experience or knowledge of the big caps But 1 more thing too.. would a 200amp isolater between the 2 batterys help at all?

Ok that's wat I was thinking But is there a HO alt at all that I don't know about for my nissan? And about the rebuilt of the alt I just may need to do that research. But wat do u guys think about thoughs hybrid caps that r 10+far

And also I have looked online for this and I can't find the answers I'm looking for that suites my situation. So ya with the red top should I use it for my front battery and get a xs 1200d battery (or anything equal to it) for rear and ditch the cap? Or get a bigger cap after changing the batterys with the big 3

Ok I have a 91 Nissan 240sx. I have a Kenwood amp (x1200m) for bass set @ 4ohms with 800watt/x2 Then a Kenwood amp (x600f) for high/mids set @ 4ohms with 400watt/x4 My car has a standard battery up front for starting and A optima red top battery in rear for amps. Both batterys hooked up with 0awg power with both grounded with 0awg to the car. I have a 2far. Cap for bass amp. Wen I turn up the music to almost max listening volume my car with start to have lights dim and my RPM will start to "lug down". __--___-__-__-__-_-___-_-_____-__-_________-"----_- Ok now the question... For my car I can't find a HO alt for my motor(ka24de). Why does my car still do the dim of the lights and the lug on the motor? So... Should I just do the big 3.. Or Take the cap out.. Or Add another battery (like the xs 1200d battery).. _-But I'm going to buy another bass amp (x1200m) and run each amp at 2ohms with 1200watts for 1 subwoofer-_ Plz help Imma try to post a video of my setup and problem in a day or so Thanx every1
