hmm that would work also, this might take me a little longer to do though, the front passenger side strut jus broke on my car. there is a blazer for $850 that im lookin at for a ride, nice body, hardly any rust for the year it is. idk, so my budget might be a little cheaper or i might have to get only one for now. im going to look at those sr's though, thanks aquill

alright i also found these. they are the Audioque Street Duty 2 Series subwoofer from audioque. are these more of an spl sub or sql, sq? anyone every used them? goodbad? decently priced if they are decent subs.

do they have an 18"? and whats it power handling. ive been lookin around and trying to find something decent, cvr's are reletivly cheap now-a-days and pound good on high frequencies. mach 5 18" are there also. i chose the subs i did because of the reletivly low power handling, my electrical system cannot support all that much. i know one good high power sub would sound better then a couple low power cheap subs but i can power the couple low power subs better. if i got two crv's i could put 300wrms to each of them at 2ohms and bump away. as of now that is the amp i have to work with, if i where to get the 4 mtx i would run them off the one amp till i could get another. im not made of money, and with bills and car insurace, along with gas being so damn expensive i cannot afford a whole lot.

i could also get a pair of V-max 15's, i think those would pound good. idk the vmax's would have better xmax but the four 12's would have cone area. ahhhh i have no idea what to buy, if my taxes come back being more then $300 (which i doubt) i would go and buy some good subs.

o0o0 i forgot about those audiopipes, and johnny, i just sold two of those shit speakers to help pay for sum new subs. so you think four of the 12" mtx would sound nice? i want loud, i know cvr's are loud but IMO sound like shit in everything i have heard them in, sealed ported alike.i want something loud but sound decent while doin it. and dc's are out of my price range, im goin to be going to college so i dont want to spend a hole lot on a system. im going to need a security system also.

it would have been 4 12" 4512's. i would get dc's if i could afford them, i owe my parents money so whatever i have left im useing toward new subs. a kid is supposed to be buying my ultra's soon so that will be extra cash also. these are just cheap subs, budget is around $120 a sub if not less. thanks

want 12"- ALPINE TYPE S, PIONEER TSW307D4, KICKER 07 CVR12. or four 12" MTX THUNDER T4512. or two MB QUART REFERENCE SERIES RWE-352 15". im sick of two subs being louder then my four cheap ultra linear's. which subs would give me the most spl and can handle tuning down to at least 35hz (i know most should) which subs should i get. goin in a hatchback and will be supplied sufficient power.

different brands mixing together doesnt matter, and those kenwood subs suck. my friend had some in his cavy and best buy installed them, they blew. he took them back and they said that they where not supposed to be in a ported box because of low xmax or something. and best buy installed it lol. cvr's are going to get loud, IMO dont sound the best. i liked the rockford p2 12" subs i had. check out woofersetc.com, they usually have some good deals on memphis subs or something else.

thats what i thought, was i right? re is more musical, and dd is really loud? i want to hopefully win a couple local comp's with these things. i know the dd's would be loud, but can they also sound good doing it?

umm when i get a camera i will take sum, i tried the screw driver thing and nothing... also there are a few connections im not sure about, one has a LED and power (three prongs) then there is another saying power (two prongs) do i need power going through both of these for it to work? all fans are connected properly, heat sink is attached, everything looks attached like it is supposed to be. i have really no clue what is wrong with this damn thing.

yeah its custom built, im not sure of the two extra buttons, and dont really understand how the button doesnt work on all computer.

would the different recones give better sound quality from them? ive always been told DD's are pure bass machines and RE's are more of an all around. DD's would look cool right behind my head though. anyone know the costs of the dd and re recones? accordman says that for the dd's are a 9500 recone, which RE would that be? thanks, im really interested in a wall with four of these in my probe/celica when i get the celica running.

it is brand new, it was bought because of this problem. i cant for the life of me remember what brand it is.. i guess i could try that. i have a dmm, could i check for resistance on the power putton? if the button is out i shouldnt have any power, if it is in i should have continuity right?

i guess i havent tried that, it is a brand new power cord so i doubt that is what it is, it has a new 500watt power supply in it.

alright so my brothers girlfriend has problems with her computer, she gave it to me to see if i could fix it. but the damn thing wont turn on, its got a new power supply so for sure that isnt it. i made sure everything is connected like it should be but when i push the power button i get nothing. any ideas on how to trouble shoot the problem? could it be the power button itself? if so how would i test that? thanks guys

alright here is something ive always wondered... if i where to recone this sub, i think its a 3" voice coil, could i put any other 3" voice coil in the subs and make it work? or are there differences in the voice coils?
