ok, Im selling off my t4k to buy an amp the does more power, or a couple amps that together do more power. Great working condition 10/10, it has a few scratches on it so cosmetically I would say 8/10. Running it at 2 ohms, and voltage has only gone down as low as 13.9. Looking for 750+shipping. Close up of the scratches (not trying to hide anything...full disclosure)

they have a ton of cone area, but the problem I see with them is there is so much moving mass that it could cause the cone to lag.

if the subs are dual 4 you're looking at .67, or 2.67 ohms, dual 2 you're looking at 1.34, so you're not going to get full power from a single amp, unless you buy a bigger amp than you need. Better option would be sell your MRP-M1000 for 3 MRP-M500's then you can wire each amp to 2 ohms (if they're dual 4) and get 500wrms each. he' thinking about getting a 1500 watt amp also

the problem you're going to run in to is the strange ohm load, so you'll gain 1/3 more cone area, but you'll also be giving them less power. I think you might hear a slight difference, but not much until you up your power more.

I saw those candy colored cases at a show in south florida. They look awesome in person, but im not sure about mmats. It seems like everytime I hear about someone running mmats amps they dont have them cause they're blown, but I guess it's good since mmats will fix it for them.

just an fyi the smartstart comes with keyless entry and remote start...no alarm, unless you add the smartstart module to a compatible alarm. Also, unlike I originally thought there are no push notifications as of yet, so your iphone wont function as a 2way transponder...Novel idea, but they should have gotten everything 100% functional before they brought it to market.

not sure about their home theater systems, but I've played a couple of their pianos, and they sound amazing

the program is called Mywi. you download it from rock when you jailbreak your iphone. To jailbreak the phone I would suggest blackra1n.

I might be wrong as I have 0 experience with aero-ports, but they seem to be really close to the back wall of your box.

I think a problem with 6x9s is because the edge of the cone are different distances from the center thus causing the cone to flex and distort. Will most people notice this? No, absolutely not. Some people think you gain alot of volume from going to a bigger speaker, but from my experience this is not a big enough difference to matter. I say go with whatever speakers you can fit ( if it uses 6.5's go with those, if it takes 6x9's go with those).

He's still going with the SMD subs, but he's trying to say that the BTL's are taking what he's throwing at them in stride. He wants the new subs, but he's fine with the BTL's until then.

Im really glad to hear you got everything straightened out. Did you reinstall the MyWi, or are you going with something else?

Sorry you're having problems, Steve. When you turn on the wifi tethering it turns off your ability to connect to wifi. It makes sense because if you can connect to wifi on your phone you dont need to connect to your phone...you can just connect to the wifi source. If you turn off your wifi tethering, you can connect to a wifi source again. Not sure how big of a pain it is, but when you get mywi, it turns on the factory tethering settings in your phone, so instead of using the wifi tethering option you can connect to your mac mini with either USB, or bluetooth. That might be better for you so you can always use your wifi, until you're in the how then it connects to your computer, and lets it work as the connection for you computer.

You shouldnt have any issues, I hook mine up to the computer every night (automatically brings up itunes) and I haven't had any issues with it needing to be re-broken.

He is saying it's tethered for itouches, not iphones. this is the non tethered version so you dont have to re-jailbreak it everytime you connect it. The other jailbreak methods for iphones running firmware later than 3.0 have had to be re-jailbroken everytime it's connected to the computer. Blackra1n doesnt make you do this, it's just a 1 time deal unless you restore your iphone, then you have to jailbreak it again. Yeah, man. Easiest jailbreak ever, imo. Even those prior to 3.0 required more work than this...just make it ra1n. lol

Yeah, my iphone has version 3.1.2. I used Blackra1n to jailbreak it (stupid easy), then downloaded rock and cydia. Rock has an application called MyWi. To buy the app costs 10 bucks, but there is a free 9 day trial. It will allow either wired tethering, bluetooth tethering, or actual wireless tethering through a network on your phone. I'll look up more info for you. Blackra1n is really stable, I've been jailbroken for about a month and had absolutely no issues what so ever. Found this on a quick google search.

Hey steve, how against jailbreaking your iphone are you??? I just jailbroke mine for the sole purpose of tethering, and it's working perfectly thus far.

The LMS ultras are 4" coil and pretty power hungry. If you dont mind spending the cash on subs, they'll get really loud, but you're going to need a ton of power, and a ton of electrical to back it up

I know its about a month old, but Blackra1n can jailbreak an iphone 3g/3gs with 3.1.2...works great and extremely easy.
