aero ports ftmfw!

built a aero port fart box and sounds best sub up ports firing to the rear thanks for the help everyone!

so did the show happen I heard it was cancelled?

I have enough wood to build at least 2 more boxes ....so I want to try to find the best box for my car.. guess I have to test test test ! Thanks for all the help guys! Im sure ill be asking more question as I build.

ok so I have the box built if I try it with the way it is will I hurt my subs at all ? Or will it just not sound good ? Or do I just scrap this box and start over? Thinking I might be able to use it as a one note wonder box if I find the right note ?

is that box gonna be able to do numbers if I switch out ports and tune higher?? I want it for dd and be able to tune high for comps....

they are going to be external ports if that helps....

can I mount them on the front side of the box and still have good sound ? subs up and ports on front 4 inches apart that leaves me 3 inches in between.

Ok I built a box for 2 12's subs up and aero ports to the drivers side....My question is where do I put the ports on the box ? This is my first box with aero's. Box is 13 by 13 and 25 long. I read that rule of thumb is put ports on center of the box horizonally ? is this right? So subs up and ports firing to the drivers side? I have 2 4 inch psp flared ports if that helps.

mods if you want to move this to another forum I wasnt sure where to post it....

right now it is subs and port back...but im not liking the output..kinda sounds distorted on certain songs. I listen to rap mostly...wife likes both rock and some rap

Ok everyone I almost have the money to build a new box. I already talked to roscoe about it but I might do a different design and I dont want to keep asking just him. (want to stay on his good side or he will drop the hammer)!!! j/k roscoe. Anyway I have a 97 sunfire trunk space is 38 wide max by 30 deep max and about 13 tall if i want to get it in the trunk. Anyone out there know what sub and port placement works better in a sunfire? Roscoe suggested walling it off...I was wondering if subs up port to the side or back would work better? Im doing a removable port for this box ...33ish dd and anywhere from 44 to 60's for comps. I have 2 cvx 12's 2 ohm running off a 2000 watt PA gothik amp. Roscoe chim in too if you want I have everything but the wood for the build. sean

before I bought hushmat you could hear the vibration go from the trunk to the doors from the bass...now with hushmat nothing but clean bass!

my cousin did a 148 with 2 L7 12 in a 97 cavi last year .....I think in the right box it is possible.

what does it meter? I have a 97 sunfire and I hit a 140.1 on music.
