How many inches of port per cube do u have?

I dont know if u understand some subwoofers. Alot of The stats or numbers that compamies put on the subs arent accurate, just for looks, especially the lower end subwoofers. But dc subs are sick im sure you know but they can handle serious power ...what are you going on about man? i was just looking for the vas of the driver..... who mentioned anything lower end? i mean i know xplods cant handle 1600 watts, but how is that relevant to this topic? the specs i was refering to are things such as the actual value of the coils, in Le, the Re of the coil, the qts, qes, qms, vas, and sd of the driver......... i think he was trying to sound smart. lol. A smart ass maybe. Lol. But i do know that companies inflate those numbers all the time

Im just curious but why would there be more box rise by strapping amps?

you should always run any wire in the engine bay in some split loom or something like that to prevent shit like that from happening..i have the new fleks wire and the covering is thin as hell so its gotta be covered..plus i like the stock look

Amp kits sometimes suck. The wire is usually smaller than i says but its up to you. Be patient And put ur system together the right way the first time and you will be happy and save u money from doing i over again if its fucked up

When i got one awhile ago i coulda swore it was under 400 shipped but either way if you can scrape uP a little more money to get one its well worth it. Let us know what u decide on when u do

No problem, its just better to be safe than sorry. Thats a bad ass amp and i wouldnt wanna see it get ruined. But you could do the basic stuff and just watch and see what your voltage does. Have a voltage meter up front where you can monitor it. With a couple good batteries and stock alt you just might be ok, test it but be careful. Your welcome anytime

Haha na it's all good. But yeah so it probably wont handle the pressure right? That amp is a beast bro! Its been clamped at 3400 plus at just over 12 volts i think if i remember right so it draws alot of current and NEEDS the electrical to really produce and not get f'd up with low voltage or something. So i know that you paid good money for that amp so i wouldnt skimp on the rest of the install. Take your time and do it right and get the proper equiptment to keep that amp out of the repair shop and costing you more money than you wanted to spend in the first place. Thats just me. Measure twice cut once is my motto. Lol. Im sitting on two DC 3.5k amps just waiting for my alternator. i could put them in and run the risk of blowing them up but im going to be patient until i can properly supply the power they need to run safely. And im finishing my box but ill be done before my alt gets here so i just gotta wait it out as freaking hard as it is to just see your amp as a paper weight at the moment! Lol

So stick with stock alt for now and upgrade later? And you mean d3100 in the back right because it's to big to fit under my hood I was thinking more like the biggest one I can fit under the hood and the d3100 in the back? Me personally would start with a good reputable alternator and the biggest battery under the hood. Then i wouldadd batteries in the back if i had to. With a good 250 amp alt and a good xs power bat under the hood you should be ok with that amp

Yeah def big 3 and 0 gauge with that amp. Xs power d3100 under the hood and watch your voltage and go from there

Well what do you have already? Stock alt? How many amps is it? Big 3 done? Id start with 1/0 gauge big 3, and maybe a high output alternator( dc power 270xp or mechman alt) and if you did that with a good battery up front you really shouldnt need another battery in the back

I will get 4 12's and either option will be ran at 1 ohm. Will the 1 amp setup draw less current then the 2 amp setup? Ok so i would go with the one amp because otherwise you would be running the amps at .5 ohms each which is a lil dangerous without the right electrical, but get more power. The amp draw would be more if ran at half ohms but about the same for both setups if ran at one ohms. The one amp you could run safely at one ohm and still get plenty of power witht that amp.

Oh ok... I actually just ordered two sets Of the t1 6.5 comps too so will let you know how i like them, i might even do a install vid too

Two different speaker impedance configurations. For instance, if you have a sub that is 2 ohms and still want to get 3000 plus watts to that sub go with the two amp setup. If you have a sub that is one ohm then go with the one amp because it is one ohm stable and you can get the most out of the amp without running below stable impedance. I hope that makes sense but Go with what ever will work best with your subs amd if you dont have subs already then go with the one amp(takes up less room, weight, ect ect)

I had the t1000 and it hit lows just fine i thought but could have better if the enclosure was better but very clean amp though and had great SQ if you ask me! Loved that little amp! Also it was under rated too by alot.
