Alot of people dont understand... they'll have a btl, and a Lanzar optidrive 4k, w/ 4 gauge power and ground connectors... theres no way that amp is making 4krms at 1ohm... if people got good amps to go with good subs, they would realize, that what they have is great equipment, and they wont feel the need to keep getting more EDIT: Ntm battery back-up is very important too

    yeah, but make sure its CLEAN!!! ntm if you use a Hifonicis not your not see 2k rms, imho, you seeing anywhere from 1700-1500max rms at 1 ohm, UNCLIPPED POWER, if you wanna put your bass boost all the way up, and have sh*tty electrical, thats on you... if you want to run a hifonics for 2krms of clean power, hey the hifonics 26xx... also, your probably only seeing 12 watts rms out of ur current hifonics amp

    2x Fi btl's by far, if you power them correctly, make a good box for em, and have good electrical to run em off. it will hurt your wallet alil tho. don't get em unless you gonna have all 3 straight, its not worth it imo esp because clipped signals are the best way to fire your subs and amps...

    no, actually, i just saw some in "neo frog's" build, and i was really impressed. I think those will actually work perfectly. b/c all i got to do it turn the batt around and run those "extend the batt terminal" things, and that should work out great. You know here i can get those from? like home depot or something?

    really? can some1 elaborate? I wanna hear more about the features of the 9887... I love my 9886, but the i don't like how all i have is a treble control, w/ no crossover and such but its still a great unit.
