On my Alpine 9883 HU, I want to keep the bass turned down on my mids but if I turn it down it also turns down my subs. I thought there was a way where you could turn down your bass from your mids but keep your subs up. Is there a way?

i agree with what you are saying. A buddy of mine has 2 12 L7s in his expedition in about the same size box as mine with my old amp and his sounds a lot different than mine. Certain notes seemed louder while others weren't as ear blowing if you catch my drift. And I am kinda confused where acoustics comes into play?

Since four of you guys basically ruined my other thread about a possible DB rating question I am making another thread. I don't care if it annoys you or in your sad little terminology, how "noob" of a question it is. There is no rule on this forum that states you're not allowed to ask certain questions. I didn't do anything wrong to get my thread shut down. If you don't have anything to say that's going to help, then don't say anything...simple manners. Question: Since there are so many factors when it comes to DB ratings, then would a bigger SUV such as an expedition get louder opposed to a Jeep with the same exact setup?

What's my huge problem?

If I put a screen over my liscence plate so like if you look at it from an angle you can't see it? It's like the the computers or laptos that have an extra screen and when you look at it from the side the screen appears black so people can't see what you're typing. Is this illegal? I would assme so.

Louder from the outside or inside? I am assuming from the outside if it is relieving pressure. I think the windows he is talking about don't go down...he's talking about the back side panels of his expedition. I have seen his car many times.

If you're getting a cap because of the cool light display you're getting it for the wrong purpose. I have to admit it is a very cool toy to have but batteries are better.

Knukonceptz.com They make pretty good 1/0 gauge wiring. I got like 25 feet for like $51 or something and still have leftover wiring. Just don't confuse your ground and power together or bad things can happen.

I am trying to find a SUV that can do 20 plus MPG. Anyone got suggestions? Also, hat kind of MPG does a 2004 Explorer get?
