  1. Your looking to see if they are high spl subs, but want to run them in a sealed box?
  2. Someone tried sneaking in a post, said name was Zoey Saldana or something like that, didn't find they looked alike though...
  3. Laugh all you want, I'm paying to much attention to your avy... Going change my interests, BRB lol
  4. I'd choose the DC subs over the JL subs, but that's just me.
  5. Just basic visual inspection. Do not own a volt meter, doubt any of my friends do either. Ill try the battery to radio wiring thing, if that doesn't work, I'll find someone with a voltmeter
  6. Yes, it needs a chime adapter, but thats just for the chimes. I've read that I can get by without the chime by using a regular wiring harness. All im supposed to lose it the chime. I'll try the direct wiring thing tomorrow morning, it's late over here and everyone else is passed out.
  7. You definitely do not need 4g amp kit for only 300wrms. An 8gauge kit should do fine. This amp should work fine at 2ohm and put out the power you want, it's $170 so just save up that extra $20 or so
  8. Reran red, yellow, ground, everything multiple times trying to see if that was the problem, nothing changed though...
  9. Tried hooking up my old boss bv8965b 7inch touchscreen head unit in my friends truck today. I wired everything correctly (atleast I think so...), checked fuses, and everything. Fuses on radio and truck are fine. I hooked the same radio up to my truck three months ago, worked fine. Now it wont even power on in his truck. Also if it matters, this was the first aftermarket head unit we've tried installing in his truck, took out the factory radio, got dash install kit, wiring harness, and antenna adapter. Truck is a 2005 GMC Sierra 4door. Someone please help get this working!
  10. My stock system ran a 1200w Kicker amp damn well, you should have no problem with it mate
  11. Okay thanks man! Hopefully I'll be able to get everything done in 2 weeks or so
  12. If I have any other questions, I'll be sure to ship you a cup of coffee man Well actually I do have one more question. If I get the D3400, will I need to order anything else to install it or just pop it into my battery mount under the hood?
  13. That would be perfect, need to find a dealer to get a quote w/ shipping to 70570... If a dealer reads this, please pm me. Thanks! Yall guys are so helpful, can't get over that. Yall make planning a system so much easier
  14. Will more than likely do Big3 soon since I plan on upgrading eventually So does anyone have a price for the D3400?
  15. Well, I may be able to get a Aq2200 to power my DD3515, and was wondering if the D3400 would be good enough to power the system. It will be under my hood, only battery. Will upgrade later on to possibly another D3400 in the back. Alternator is stock, pushes out 117A or so I believe. No Big3 yet, will work on it... Also would like a price quote on the D3400, can't find pricing anywhere. Thanks
  16. Lol. I'll get pics when i can see the system myself. I wont have everything in my truck till around next week or so, but he said he wants to battle, so when i get everything in, I guess we'll take them to a local audio shop and let the TL do all the talking And yeah, he is the type of guy that always has to have the best stuff. I had a stroker 122 running off of a kicker zx1200, destroyed every single or two sub system at school. He said his 2 kicker comp 15's were louder. Les just say there was no comparison
  17. Lmao. Probably gonna be 2 sealed pre-fab boxs connected to look like one big prefab xD
  18. Lol thats what im saying. If his box cost that much, it better make $100 bills just magically appear inside the box and blow through the port.
