    If the leads are short, it should be easy to extend right? Also, they aren't supposed to just run from the terminal to inside the sub in the air like that are they? Shouldn't they be somehow attached to the cone, or spider? I'm not sure if those are the right part names...

    Nah, I set the amp right, if it's off it's not off by much. I used DMM to set amp which I know isn't the preferred method but like I said, shouldn't be THAT off! And I'm tuned way low, like 28-29 Hz. so... Maybe above tuning? Happened playing Gucci, 30 years slowed...

    How did that happen? They aren't even seeing 500 wrms and they can take up to 1000.

    So I snapped the leads on BOTH my subs, I'm guessing at the same time. Looks like solder should do it but I am going to leave them alone until I feel confident in doing the repair. When I hook the DMM directly to the snapped lead I get a good reading so I assume they should be ok with some repair. Looking for input from you guys. Should I attempt to solder? Is there a specific type of solder to use? ALSO WONDERING WHY THE HELL THIS HAPPENED!!!

    Man I bought a pre fab ported box. It was well made no doubt. 3/4 MDF, 45's on the inside, spring loaded terminals all the works... But tuned S O O O high, it was ridiculous!!! It was made by audioenhancers.com If your subs will run sealed, and this is only going to be for a month or so, then that's what I would do, most sealed boxes sound pretty decent... But I'm a noob.

    If you are going to do a pre fab box, why would you even consider buying online, also, sealed may be a better option for a pre fab box, unless those Sundowns hate sealed... I have no experience with them myself.
