  1. I did put a vid of it finished on my YouTube account but I'm on my phone, which is about to die lol. My YouTube name is TheNamesDonovan if u wanna check it out
  2. LOL I keep forgetting to post the finished product. I'm getting my RF 500.1 for Xmas, so it ain't bumpin yet
  3. Yeah I finished it up a couple days ago, forgot to put pics up. Autruche on here designed it for me, he said net displacement was .6 cuft. I don't think i'm ready for a t line yet. lol...
  4. Yeah I just used that one when I cut for my new box and it wasn't too bad, but yeah I'll get a finer tooth blade
  5. Hey guys, this is my first decent box build for my Sundown SA-8. I just finished cutting the MDF with my new table saw. I say "decent" because my last box was built using a handsaw and it was horrible. I got a design from a guy on here for free and he did a great job! Box is .6 cubic feet and tuned to 35 hz. I'm not starting on putting it together today, because my neighbor has a small brad nailgun and it is perfect for this 1/2" MDF. Later this week hopefully, because today's thanksgiving! Here's some pics of it pieced together: Thanks for looking!
  6. LOL same here I got a 24 pounder for 8 bucks, I work at a grocery store and got a discount.
  7. Looks like 16 guage? If your 400 watts or more, i'd get thicker wire like 14 or maybe 12 guage
  8. I guess I gotta do some research, I don't know...lol.
  9. Now I can try to build a box the right way! First time was with a handsaw, cutting MDF. Got it at a garage sale in my neighborhood for a 100 bucks. It's a Craftsman.
  10. The sundown sa-8 is your best bet. It's a beast compared to all those mainstream brands you mentioned, and they can take some power.
  11. Lol they have a show about that, with boarder patrol. If something seems suspicious, they bring drug dogs in, so I think you'd be fine haha.
  12. I forgot where I saw it, someone tested an ipod with an oscope and it clipped at 99 percent volume. I have no idea if that's right though LOL
  13. That's what I'm worried about...I don't have an oscope. Is that the only way to see if it's clipping? Have access to a digital multimeter? It can be done with one. Yep, got one of those. I'll quit bugging you and do some research on that, LOL
