  1. Spectrum works on the roof, but adding it to 8 layers of Damp Pro really wouldn't have much benefit.
  2. Damplifier Pro. Unless you are planning on doing the exterior, then I would opt for the Spectrum. Or just get both.
  3. Yeah we love our customers! 6 hours to go until the first deal is posted! Remember the codes will be posted on our Facebook page and simultaneously on our forum for those who can't access Facebook or don't use Facebook.
  4. Yeah, if you're shooting for 100% coverage, 60 sq. ft. will be eaten up rather quickly. For example, each door can use around 8+ sq. ft., so that right there is a little more than half of that 60 sq. ft..
  5. So we got a little excited and decided to start the sales a little bit early! From now until the sales begin on Friday, and again from after the sales end to the end of the day, use the code: BF100SHIP for free shipping on any order over $100*! *Contiguous United States Only - The Second Skin Team
  6. Because of how amazing these deals are, they will only be available for a short amount of time. So for the first deal (Damp or Damp Pro Bulk Packs), the discount code will be valid from 12:00AM to 12:30AM. At 12:31AM, that code will expire and the next deal will begin, and so on for all five deals we have planned. If you have to work during this time period, give someone your credit card and have them order it for ya or come in 5 minutes late to get your order in. Sounds good! I think there will be a bit of everything for everyone this time around. And the deals are truly awesome!
  7. Haha! Yeah that definitely gives you an advantage. Sneak peak of the deals has been posted above. More deals to be revealed leading up to Friday!
  8. Don't use or have access to Facebook? We've got you covered! The deals will be posted simultaneously on our forum to insure everyone can get in on these deals! 9. For nearly 100% coverage, 40-60 sq. ft.. Just to kill panel resonance (25%), 20 sq. ft. would do.
  10. LOL thanks. P&S in car audio will probably always be an issue, so hopefully by providing people with as much information on the subject will maybe curve it to some degree. One can only hope at least...
  11. Peel & Seal is made my MFM. U-Seal is just another form of roofing product. Same construction. It may seem like it would come out cheaper, but 99% of the time it's not. Simply put, I was not comparing price per square foot, but rather the price per square foot to achieve the same results. You need 100%+ coverage with a product like Peel & Seal, but only 25% coverage with a CLD to get the same result. So let's take your pricing and compare. 12 sq. ft. of Peal & Seal ran you $12. With that amount you were able to treat 12 square feet which equals... well a buck a square foot. Say you want to treat your entire car which totals 80 square feet of surface area. At $1 a square foot, it's going to cost you $80 to treat 80 sq. ft. Pretty simple. Now lets take Damplifier for instance. 20 sq. ft. of Damplifier will run you about $76 (plus or minus any sort of discount). Since only a quarter of the amount of Damplifier is needed (a 6" x 6" square per square foot) to achieve the same OR better results as the P&S, that 20 sq. ft. of Damplifier will be able to treat the entire 80 sq. ft. you are wanting to accomplish. If we break that down to the price per square foot... $76 divided by 80 sq. ft. = $0.95 a square foot price. Virtually identical price wise... P&S is not cheaper. Now are you willing to take a chance on a product that was designed to be installed on a roof OR would you rather use a product that was designed from the ground up to be used in an automobiles? Not only that but is guaranteed not to peel, melt, or fall off AND works better. EDIT: Oh and 12 sq. ft. of a CLD, such as Damplifier, will run you about $55. But remember, that 12 sq. ft. of Damplifier is the equivalent to the performance of 48 sq. ft. of P&S. And if you broke that down to price per square foot, it would be about $1.15 a square foot... 15¢ more than P&S.

  13. Simply put, whether or not it was an accident the whole thing should have been avoided by the officer NOT pointing the taser at the kid. Just like a gun, you don't point shit at things you don't intended to shoot.
  14. Personally, when it comes to trunk lids I am super strategic in where I place the material. Why? There are a lot of areas that really don't need any deadener. For instance, areas that are double walled/reinforced don't need much, if any, deadener. Areas that are formed/curved resonate MUCH less than the flat areas, thus not needing much, if any, deadener. And the list goes on... So for your lid I would look at treating the highlighted areas first (see below). Then tap/hit the panel, play your music, etc. and see if the other areas need some deadening. Of course depending on what you are trying to achieve will also dictate how and where the product is applied. I say all of this not to make it more complicated, but to help insure you get the most out of and best coverage with the product. EDIT: And yes, I too approve of the Home Depot J-Roller.
  15. Nice usage on the coupon! Discount the already discounted product! Let us know how the install goes.
  16. Yeah we still have B-stock Damp Pro. CRAZY awesome price on the 90 sq. ft. shop pack too.
  17. Our regular Damplifier will out perform most other companies EXTREME versions, so no worries there. And there isn't any need to go all balls to the wall and double or triple cover your doors. Hell in most cases complete coverage isn't even necessary. So 32 sq. ft. would be plenty for a 05 Monte Carlo's doors.
  18. I just received word from Max that they received some more B-Stock Damplifier! This stuff is priced to move at $85 a pack! For those who don't know what b-stock is, it's just product that may be scuffed, damaged, or wrinkled but otherwise the same as the regular material. Again there is an extremely limited supply! First come first served! Get it before it is GONE! And don't forget about our Halloween Sale!
