oh its at 12.5-12.6v sorry i dont mean to be a difficult noob, just dont wanna waste the money i spent on this beauty, because i have been known to wreck brand new things because of just jumping into it. where can i get a good not-xspower-expensive agm charger? ill order it after the canada postal strike
-
well agm's are maintenance free. also i looked up the model its a motomaster and it says it can be used on agm's
-
i have a battery charger that does "maintenance free/Deep cycle" and "low maintenance". it does 2 amp, and 15 amp battery charges, however its not one of those smart charges where it turns off when the battery is fully charged. by me not knowing what do with it first, straight from the store, i mean do i charge it or run it down then charge it

If you are talking about the gauge in your dash its not very accurate, therefore most times wont catch the voltage drops which could be detrimental to your amps. get a digital voltmeter and mount in your dash. if thats not what you mean dont make me feel stupid cause im the only one to reply.

canada post strike
nickers replied to nickers's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
if it doesn't get worked out the government will give a "back to work order" in the next week or so. Hopefully it will be over then. -
My dad came home and suprised me with a new deka intimidator 9a31 AGM battery. Im sufficiently jacked up to say the least. However i have no experience with AGM's and i wanna make dis bitch last long time, and to have it reach its peak output. Whats the first thing you should do when you get an agm?

I had the same problem with a 300 watt RNA amp and I do believe it was my electricAl system because I took it off and attached it directly to 2 deep cycles and a wall charger it was playing full without cutting out. That and I have gone and resoldered some points inside the amp.

Well I just glassed in some quartered sonotube into the corner. Looks good and take up almost no volume
-
just do a roundover, they take up less volume and do the same job.
-
Would it also be best to put a roundover in the port bend?

countersinking subs after sub hole cut out?
nickers replied to nickers's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
if i added another baffle it would be trippled and be 2.75 inches thick for 2 12's not to mention the port has been rounded out so that would be the road i wont travel. and yes i do mean flush mount. countersink means basically the same thing -
I was too anxious too finish my box that i skipped countersinking and now that im taking the time for my build and fixing the box up and the car i want to countersink but i am not sure how to go about doing it.

i was thinking that was best bra. i aint going for numbers im goin for pride

and he only explained where they were on tube ported boxes not slots bra..

IN that SPL gains thread (SPL GAINs ) the guy said, and showed on termlab that he lost output by rounding the corners in his box, but certain corners gained. Can someone help explain which corners are best for round/angling. a side note: my port ends rather close to the side of my box, but its a port width away so no worries. i was wondering if i rounded the side corner its close to would it increase airflow/deebeez?

Alright way to sound deaden doors?
nickers replied to nickers's topic in Fabrication, Fiberglass, Etc
peal and seal/ equivalent products would deaden yes however it is much thinner and therefore requires more to do the same amount of dampening. not only that but its melting point is much lower than car audio brand mats. another question i would have is, if i resort to using that in the doors should i also use aluminum tape as extra "protection" to keep it on? or is there something else that would keep it on.
