Okay so i have a 1999 Volkswagen jetta with my stock 90 amp alt and stock battery (i also have done my big 3). As of right now i am running a soundstream rubicon 1.1600D to my Audio Que HDC3 15. The soundstream amp dose "1600" rms at 1 ohm but i have never clamped it so that's just a crap shoot. So the reason why i go to say all of this is that i want to get a Crescendo 2K eventually and a 4 channel amp but before that i want to start upgrading my electrical... Sooo i have been doing a lot of research but am still unsure of what i want to get next. I can eater get a Mike stinger 225 Amp alt a Xs power 3100 or Kinetik HC2400 (if i got a battery it would be replacing my starter battery) so i want your opinion on what will help my electrical the most.

Thanks and when i do upgrade i will go with the xl is only a little more and i can make it louder down the road with a bigger amp

yup, If I was to buy new Id either go with an xl or go crazy on a lv5 yah but XL is the biggest i would go. plus i think it will be fine with the 1400 rms amp.

the box is 4 cubes tuned to 35 hz. and the XL is not to much more than the level 4. plus later on i can always get a bigger amp...

So i have 1400 RMS to work with at 1 ohm after box rise and most likely the amp being a little overated im probly looking around 1100-1200 What would be louder/higher SPL if i went with a level 4 or a XL 15"??? i want your opinion... im not shure what would be the best...

Which ones run in Florida? idk i know some are only in certan states.

Hey guys so i know next to nothing when it comes to the rules and classes when it comes to competing... i have a 1999 jetta with one battery one alt one amp and one sub im also running 900 RMS so if there is a class for my car what would it be? also what are the diffrent types of comps i could compeat in for fun? i know some but not much any help would be great. yah im shure if i turn it off i wont smell anything ( but i will probly have half the bass) but now i know not to play demons at my max. also what do you guys think about soundstream amps?? Old school soundstream amps are awesome. New soundstream amps, not so much. Once they sold out, quality and customer service went down the drain. Yah i think its an 08 model idk. its a ok amp. if i was ever able to sell it i would get an aq1200D i love my sub and all i ever hear is good stuff about there amps. plus they have that clean look to them and that clip light.

More cone area. And yah 2 SDC2.5 and a AQ1200D will sound great. I would go for the 15 but if you dont have the room for 3.5 to 4 Cubes per sub go with the 12. it even says it on there web site. that 2 12 in the right size box will out peform 2 15s in really small boxes. so get what you have room for.

SDC2.5 Rip Ass for the price great subs. i have 1 15 and i love it. you could use one 15 and a AQ 1200d or 750 and sound louder and cleaner than those 2 boss subs....

there wire is great. its probly the only wire i will use from hear on out. idk about the fuse holders. check ebay and find the right one for your build.

Get an AQ 1200D or a Soundstream DTR1.400 of ebay brand new shipped for around $200 it dose 1400 rms at 1 ohm but you could turn the gain down.

Well as of right now im going to work on the big 3 and trying to get my system o scoped and term labed before i upgrade. thanks for all the help people. i now know that eather way im good.

true true. i need to find someone in orlando Fl with a O scope a Term Lab and a kind heart lol I believe malib00m and lascivious on here get something goin in orlando on the weekends with a termlab and such. May want to contact one of them FYI Hmmm thank you i think i will. that would be sweet.
