    Sorry to thread jack but I have 2 HDC3 15s also and was wondering the best box size and port area running 6000 to the pair. Amp is a Lanzar opti 6k Edit: I will be reconing to the new style soon if that matters

    1. I used this same exact stuff for my last box, I'll let you ask anyone who has seen the box in person if it's strong or not. 2. To say that any little voids is going to make this wood really weak is complete bullshit!

    It would be a waste to get a sub that can take 3+ thousand watts to only put 1200 through it. You would be better off getting a lesser sub and putting the saved money into other thingd 3000 watts RMS? You'll blow both of those subs at that. AQ is rated at 1k and the fi bl is 1.5k. The hdc3 can take well over 1k clean power daily..... Many variables to that, box design, user's experience, etc. etc.

    Ummmm... this build makes no sense. Turn the box around then seal it off, move the mids and highs inside the car. Unless you just like bumping with the trunk lid open
