i did a stupid move.. i cut my 1/0 about a foot too short to reach to my trunk, so my question is should i just get 1/0 couplers and it will all be good? or would it be even better to have my battery in the backseat on the floor, because it gets real cold hear in the winter and it would warm up faster? ( one benefit lol), so what would you do? get couplers and just keep it in trunk or set on the floor in backseat? the only problem i find with backseat is if someone wants to sit their where do they put their feet? lol

This is my first ever build,in matter of fact this is my first sub lol, so it might not be super perfect but im trying my hardest lol! i am 16, and love car audio. so now the system! 9515 Digital Design AQ 2200 JVC KD-G730 Monster 1/0 50' ( feet, i think thats the sign ) 5 ft3 box tuned to 30 hz XS D3400 two rolls of peel n seal ( roughly 25 ft2 most of my eqipment... missing box and diehard battery as you can see. This is part of my backseat after i took a couple of stuff off. You can kind of see the bracing behind it, which is why i uploaded it to show what i took out... not the greatest pic but the only one i have of it! [/img] in the middle of cleaning it up... took the bracing out and started making a nice flush whole Took the stock sound deadener off because it was full of nasty stuff from when i was a kid. Wire is still a bit messy here. jigsawed a hole for my amp switch on my vent trim. their will be more pictures tomorow.. sorry i didnt realize i could upload with my phone , but my build should be getting done quick ! so stay tuned. More and better pics coming tomorow of my big 3 and cleanin my wire up to look sexy! also box should be built soon by sunday.

I no Ive been busy posting topics about different subs! don't you ever get that excited feeling of hooking Ur system up?!?! SO ill have about a 5 cu foot box, and a XS 3400, and the big 3 done, and running it on an AQ 220 ( i no its not the best power for the 18, bet eh) . The 15" HCCA Orion is on back order till July, and I'm real excited, and want something NOW!!! LOL. So if you could help decide what would be best for my situation, or what u would get id be happy. Ive been debating for soo long on what to get So plz help me decide!

woopsy, the sub discplacement shuld be .15, cuz its 15" sub right? i was thinking it for an 18"

ok wtf, my wires are all gay,my alt is about 1/4 a foot away, my ground to chasi, is right under my battery, then my ground to my engine block is a super thin wide wire. but the grounds are hooked up in like 3 places its weird il figure out tomorow at work tho hopefully haha

I would still add a ground from the engine block to the chassis... i have tons of grounds up front, incase something happens LOL so if i run the wire fdrom the engine block to the chasi, do i run a wire from that part of the chasi to the negative also?
