If you have anything needing to be made on a CNC!

you think the alt bracket would also work on a 03' Avalanche w/5.3L? if so let me know, i'll take one when you get them made up. -

anyone know what i should be aiming for as far as tuning and volume on a ported box? ive been playin with a few calculators and i seem to come up with roughly 6cuFt at 34Hz but not really sure how it will sound. according to RE's specs the volume should be 8cuFt total. will this affect the output of my subs if its tuned right but not large enough?

would it be better for me to just go with a ported box built to RE's specs? it will be powered by a US Amps xt-4000D so roughly 1200-1500 RMS to both subs.

well my size constraints are roughly 49.5 wide by 19.5 tall. depth is not a concern since it will be in the "bed" of the avalanche.

i am trying to design my box for 2 RE 15SE's and what i have come up with is essentially a sealed box with the subs facing up firing into a port which will be facing forward. make sense to anyone? now would i be able to just allow any amount of space for this so-called port or would it be the same as a ported enclosure and have to be tuned to a given frequency? it will be going into an 03 chevy avalanche btw.

anyone have any specs on the new VLX series?

thats exactly what im after, but if im not mistaken the SeXXX's have a higher rated power handling than the regular Se series right?

I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions on any of the Merlin series of amps for my 2 new RE Se15D4's. Would the MD-2D be too much? Not enough? I just dont want to buy more "amp" than i really need for these subs. Feedback and opinions would be also be great from anyone who is running a similar setup in their car/truck. Thanks guys! :hairtrick: <----me soon (hopefully)

Just buy a molded carpet kit for your car, you can get them at any upholstery supply house in pretty much any color you want. they just drop right in and your done. i did this to my old truck and it took less than 2 hours start to finish and it looked better than factory IMO and only cost me about ~$120
