  1. That truck looks familiar, I am in Dallas. I still have a pair of those speakers. My friend, Carlos, was a friend of the owner of Petris and the speakers I have are supposed to be prototypes of a new sub he was making, so they have the Prowler cap. Man them were the days.
  2. A friend had something like that in his Vette, maybe smaller, in the 90's. I think he had 4, at least 2, and placed them in a 8th order bandpass. Sounded awesome.
  3. That would be perfect. Let me research it and get back at ya.
  4. For at least the iPhone I have a few: Audio Tools Bullet Flight System Azul Perfect Photo Skype Team Viewer Car Care Gas Buddy
  5. That is my thinking, I just don't recognize the brands that come up.
  6. My link, cheaper offer and more specs. That amp is perfect except for that crossover. Also anyone know of a RCA to speaker level converter. I could just cut an RCA and connect the input that way. Do you by chance happen to have a model number for it so I can email them about the crossover. I am no electronic expert but wonder if I can remove the lo-pass and replace it with hi-pass.
  7. I have looked at marine amps and motorcycle amps but not familiar at all with the names that were coming up. Anyone know anything about those things?
  8. Thanks, that is the kind of info i am looking for. I remember back in the late 80's a small Kenwood I had, but that is all I remember. It was about the size of paperback.
  9. No amp I have seen goes lower than 8 volt input which is what it would take to pull it back that much. Sorry to offend the others. My pore ol system is only a pathetic 900w rms total and not the thousands y'all have. It is all I want, don't need the waste of power for anything else. Any other smart ass answers now. Yep, had that when I was a kid, don't want all that now.
  10. Nope, that is a 4 channel. I am looking for a mono. Perhaps I should just remove it and say f*** it.

  12. I am in need of a low power (50w rms) mono amp for my center channel. The idiots at the shop helped take out my 4 channel amp by bridging the center to the pos front channel and the neg rear channel. Spent the money for a digital processor and they didn't even use it correctly. I have searched Google for awhile now but maybe I am not using the correct key words. Time for more eyes to get involved. System is: Alpine IVA-D901 HU to a PXA-H701 Multimedia Manager sending signal to MRD-M605 sub amp and MRV-F345 4 channel amp Center channel is a SBS-05DC Thanks for any help
  13. Agreed that you are experiencing cancellation. A suggestion would be to completely seal off the trunk from the interior. When you lay the back seat down you will see the face of the box and the speakers. Have the port enter the interior through the rear deck. That way the sound will be originating from almost the same plane. Here is a little article about it. ( http://www.mobileinformationlabs.com/HowTo-1WooferBox-bass_cancel_1.htm ) Hope this helps
