Anybody ever use Knu's ring terminals? dosen't say what they're made out of only that their gold plated hmmm...

I was looking to get some 0 gauge wire from Knukonceptz and I noticed that they have a canadian branch of the site or something like that. Was just wondering if anyone has ordered from Canada and how it works out with Knu? Also, would the best wire to get from them be the Kolossus Fleks? Thanks on another note, what do you guys think of the KnuKonceptz 0 gauge ring terminals?

Yeah, it says so right on the can. I just got a can of MONO gap filler foam (they had no great stuff gaps filler) and it says you can reuse if you cut 1-2 inches off the straw before next use, Never tried yet so I shall find out

Thanks, Do you know if you have to use the whole can at once? somone told me you do but I can not remember. and yeah im just filling it in for vibration/seal i will be making small mdf trim peices afterwards, thats gonna be "fun"

I was thinking of using some great stuff expanding foam to seal some gaps around a wall. What is the correct type of foam to get? I went to the hardware store and they have like 20 different versions of foam. Windows and doors, low expansion, great stuff pro, cracks, flexable and so on. gaps are about 3-4 inches need to seal up and the extra reinforcment wouldnt hurt

Depends on what your running. If you have more wire I'd do 2 Runs of 1/0 to be safe. Thats what Im doing. 1/0 ga is usually good for 170 amps and 4/0 is good for 260 amps. 2 runs of 1/0 would be ideal. I had 1 run of 1/0 with my 270 amp alt and it was fine but another run could'nt hurt.

Had the same sort of problem a while back, if your powering them with the HU you need a HPF (high pass filter) Check your HU settings to see if it has one built in? More power would help alot also.

Eastern canada.. yeah I have seen those copper ones before, actually used them with 4 ga on an old install but I never seen any 0 gauge ones. I would think the 0 ga plod would be tricky to solder. Also, ever hear of any of them corroding? one of the 4 ga i used started to turn green after a few months in the trunk.

Anyone know any good deals on bulk gold plated copper 0 gauge ring terminals? or good brands/sites to get them

Yeah, they don't have any on the whole site that are copper that i noticed. I need at least 20 and the local shop 1 hour away sells them for like 15 dollars each! so I really am stuck. The ones on Darvex are stinger. They have "Bulk" and "crimp" ones, whatever the difference may be they are all brass

I am looking to get a 25 pack of 0 gauge ring terminals off of Darvex.com and I see that they have both "chrome" plated and "gold" plated ones. They are both the same price, which one would be best? Thanks

Yea that's what I hoped to do but I got pretty limited space (2 door pursuit) If I build the whole baffle to fit the car it won't fit in the door drawbacks of smaller car. I already have the box in final stages 8-9 cubic feet for 2 15's. I got about 4-5 inches on top (center) and about 2 on each side to seal up. Tricky curved angles with roof and side panels

Yeah, thats what I was thinking too but just wantes some input first. Think it would look cleaner also. and tips on adding trim around the box to finsh the wall and seal from back?

When you create a double baffle, is it better to attach each layer seperatly to the box or do you laminate them first and then attach it as one unit so the screws go through both baffles into the box. Also, whats the best way to attach mdf trim panels to seal the baffle from the rear (wall). What do you use to seal around the mdf and headliner/trim panels? Thanks

From what I understand, I can strap my BRZ's together but I need them at 1 ohm and they will be at 2 strapped so I don't know if it would be the best option for this setup. I need to run each btl (dual-2) paralell at one ohm. Unless the 2 ohm rating strapped is each amp at one ohm together would = 2 ohms?

Anybody know the best way to run 2 amps on one bass knob? I have 2 Hifonics BRZ2100.1D's and they each have their own bass knob. I don't want 2 knobs for obvious reasons. Will a splitter work for these amps? local audio shop mumbled somthing about their powered by the amps and all this other jarble that made no sense so I figured I would ask here for help, Thanks

Ok, thanks for the input. So you don't need to use any screws on the surfaces of the mdf when glueing sheets together? and someone told me that industrail subfloor adheisive was stronger than a wood glue? it takes 48 hours to cure.
