  1. i am not a pro either lol most reviews i see done by people who know car audio, say that they run very hot are over rated big time an the setting are outdated :/
  2. what mids an highs are going to use ? i my self am working on my blazer , but dont know what im going to use for my mids an highs . my box look bey much like yours lol almost the same spcs

  4. called MTX .... they said the box is spot on ....? with the sub air displacement it is correct? still just dont seem to be right . bandpass is what i will go with in any case
  5. yes, thats what my paper work said along with plans to make it. CVX is working on a double 4th order bandpass box should rock

  7. i guess the next question is what are you running in this truck? that would determine what you will need as far a fueses ect.

  9. as is 3 out of 5 people that have been in my truck jump out within 2sec. set off a lot of car alarms too. been yelled at 4 time (only had the box foe 5 days lol now i want to know what it would be like with a proper Box!
  10. that might have to be what i do , if all else fails sell it on craigslist an have a new one made. i have not been able to find any mtx enclosures for 2 of the 9500's . is it odd that the the differences between mtx spc for a 12 an a 15 is only .4sq?

  12. yes an no . i want it to basically make everyone uncomfortable in and around my truck lol. i got this blazer to do so an only for this. i have 80sq of mat to put in an a lot of mid of highs to do . but for now just tooling with the box an subs

  15. MTX site for ported is Min. 2.4 each, can a port be just simply a square hole? rather than to tunnel ? whats the pros an cons im going for spl first time .

  18. i had the same feeling, the por being small that is. he thinks 8.5 sq i thinlk 9.9 but im a noob
  19. whats the math equations to determine this? would like to play around with port size. what port size do you think would be best? i did the air volume just as inside spec an got 9.95 sq but didnt take into consideration port or sub just simple measurement
  20. How did you com to that determination ? sorry kinda new to this an dont understand why the emphasis on what frequency boxes are tuned to as opposed to what frequency range it plays along? or is that basically the same?
