just got done with the cutlass here is some pics of the cutlassi was working on and i ordered my amps today so i should have some new pics up by the end of nxt week or as soon as the amps come in

and whos to say i cant afford them because thats basically where ur going right well think again i can im jus not gonna spend a arm and a leg on something i can get for alot less that is just as good and well my point is that you can get equipment that is just as good for alot less money

This doesn't mean I don't think brands like DC Ia Sundown aren't good or better. . this guy (MY BUDDY)thinks jl is god and that nothing can compete against it lol Edit some people take shit the wrong way

Oh alright, I definitively agree with that JL is way overpriced and people talk about it like it's the best brand out there. Not saying its a shit brand but it's deff not the best. thank you most people that ask what i got for subs when it was hooked up i say re audio there like wtf is that lol

where i live they want it banging they dont care about how it sounds as long as loud on the outside of the car lol i would rather have it banging on the inside then the outside and they wanna put as many subs in anything as they can

i don't really get it personally i mean yea concrete can conduct electricity but i don't see how it could weaken a magnet or damage it in anyway well unless you dropped it on concrete if it did wouldn't it just be like playing them on a daily basis weaken the magnet?

batterys for me never had a prob with them discharging while sitting on the floor for months but thats just me

But if you ain't careful with compound you'll burn right through the clearcoat. First off, try claying the car. See if that takes it off. If not, I would start with the finest compound you can get. If it doesn't take it off, try going a little more coarse. BE CAREFUL! If you push too hard, use the wrong kind of rag, or work it in too much, it WILL burn through your clearcoat and you'll be effed. I recommend washing the car right before, then running the hose over the area you are working. I've found it works best if you make a 'slurry' of water and the compound. Also, if you're gonna do it by hand, more power to ya; I would get a buffer. I've never used a cheap one, but if you can, get a good one like a Porter Cable. You have to be a true moron to mess up paint with a PC. Oh, you could also try a wax and grease remover. See if that takes it off. burning thru clear with rubbing compound by hand i highly doubt it with a wheel yes be careful i used to detail cars for a living for a few yrs i never scene it happen by hand.

i was told today by a friend that setting a sub on a concrete floor grounds it out and weakens the magnet - true or false. because if it is true which i dont think it is i got about 2k in subs sitting on my garage floor and i should prolly go move them lol

i would try rubbing compound because if u aint careful with the laquer thinner or its a real weak thinner it may dull the paint

Thx bro i made the door pods my self . right now for alts i jus got a stock alt thats rewound by a local shop and switch over to a 1 wire it held up great with my 2 1000ds never dropped below 14.2 full tilt at idle but i might have to upgrade after i hook up the crescendos bc2000s we will see i guess and i have another thats just a stock alt to run the car 2 charging systems and the mounting bracket is actually a piece of stainless thats krinkle painted with the plastic trim plate to hold the radio had a real bad prob with skipping before ipods lol.
