    starting vs deep cycle.... You wont notice any difference between the two in your system. I wouldnt sweat that. You have other issues to take care of. Dom

    There are alot more reasons for your clipping light other than voltage. I would personally use my ear instead of the light. The light may be just some gay feature that is not real accurate. I would just ignore it. You definitely need an alt tho. That would make a huge difference. Let me know if you want an alt.. I can get it out next day. What did you drive? I forget...     Your votlage still drops to 9ish? I so, you need to upgrade wiring on your electrical or change where you have your grounds. Check your voltage directly at the alternator. Iraggi

    Sounds like you may need a battery and an alt. Dropping to 12's indicates needing an alt.. dropping to 9's indicates needing both. How much power are you running on your subs?
