If I am right It does not apply to aeroports but with a slot port it is all of the walls the port is against, say if it is directly in the middle it would have none, if it were in the corner of the box it would have 2, but if it were all across the bottom then it would have three. You cant have 4 common port walls.. I'm pretty sure

I have dodge 1500 truck and I am running 2 memphis street duty 12s and an infinity reference series amplifier. The amp says that it is to put out 350 wrms at 2 ohms. But my question was why are my headlights and everything dimming so badly, I thought you werent supposed to have problems with such a low power system. Can anyone give me some info?

I understand that I'm quite a few build away from a haitrick. But do you understand what I'm tryin to say? If I got different more expensive subwoofers would they move more air? Say if I had a 12" sony xplod that were rated at 600wrms and a 12" sundown audio sub that is also rated 600wrms, which would move more air in two identical setups(I'm not talking hairtrick)? By the way this will be the last setup for now as i hope to get a different truck that has an extended cab, so I'm thinking maybe some sort of wall, maybe a blowthrough, if my budget, and experience allow it.

I have two Memphis audio 12" subs that are rated 600 watts rms I dont have the exact model number. I'm putting them in a single cab w/ sealed boxes. I'm far from a hairtrick I was wondering if I got different subs on the same setup (amps wires bats caps wires) would they possibly move more air depending on the subwoofer.

okay basically, can you move the same amount of air, with the same power, at the same frequency, with two woofers with equal cone area, but one has a tight suspension and one has a loose one, will the one with the looser suspension move more air?

okay but I'm talking about a hairtrick with minimal subwoofer power. I'm not talking about a crazy hairtick with 8 18s and a weak hairtrick with 2 18s. I'm talking if you took Steve Meade for example his tahoe has 4 18s and so many watts on those woofers. If another setup at the same frequency produced the same hairtrick, with 4 18s and less power. But say the subwoofers were able to move more air but with less sound pressure levels. thats what I mean.

So basically whatever subwoofer plays the lowest, loudest will be the best for a hairtick

OKay I've seen tons of people with crazy car audio systems, they park it, roll down the window, some chick pops her head in and her hair goes everywhere. I understand that the subwoofers move so much air that th windows act like a giant port hole, but I was wondering If a subwoofer has a looser suspension would it be easier to acheive a hairtrick as opposed to a subwoofer with a tight suspension? I'm just a student trying to learn everything I can. Any help is appreciated.

Ok that reminds me of something else I read, it said if you had 2 batteries then they should be the same for equal charge time. ???

So if I went and bought a deep cycle battery to replace my battery would it help any?

I have heard about some electrical myths. Are deep cycle batteries, ot multiple batteries neccessary for high wattage systems, to be played while running, or do you just need and alternator if you will be running your vehicle. The thing was that batteries are only needed to start your car, and that the only reason some people have tons of batteries is to play music with the key off. Want to upgrade the electrical but now I am confused. Also if you do the big three upgrade will it burn out your alternator?
