  1. Check and see if there is an ACC wire in the carside harness (the red wire on your new radio). You may need to run you own, some models had the Metra harness 70-1858 and others had the Metra harness 70-2003. The models that had the 70-2003 do not have that ACC wire, they turn on via a data wire, thats when you run your own ACC wire. If you do have the 70-1858 (and the ACC wire), check fuses and make sure the radio is not bad.
  2. I would love to enter....but there arnt any comps in my area. Guess I should start looking harder. haha
  3. Could it just be that track? IDK man, Id keep an eye on it though to see if it does it again.
  4. I didnt quite think it was a bottoming out issue if its doing it when he switches songs though. IMO
  5. I mean the ground at the amp. Im pretty sure what your hearing is some kind of signal...not the actual sub. IE: The bad RCAS, ground loop noise, pre outs, etc. But it wouldnt hurt to check how your sub is wired and to make sure its reading the right impedence.
  6. Im in. Ive heard some good 8s before. Id really like to see what this thing can do!
  7. So you are saying you checked your ground? Have you checked your RCAs or the ground at the deck? Ive seen an old deck do this because the pre-outs were bad.
  8. good choice. cant go wrong with any of those Ive never heard those subs before. But very good wire and a good amp also.
  9. BJD3 could be onto something there, it is possibly that your pre-outs could have an effect on the amp.
  10. Have you checked your ground? Ive seen bad grounds cause this before. Also, have you metered your speakers (individually) to make sure they are reading the proper impedance?
  11. This is a good alarm. The LCD is better, but if money is tight it will work just fine. It is 2way and will page you if the alarm is going off. It will come with a wiring diagram and instructions. But deff. take it to a shop if you have never installed one before. As far as sensors, it will come with a internal shock sensor and the ability for door triggers and instant trigger (trunk pin works great for that option). This model can have more sensors added to it. A personal friend of mine also had this system and loved it. (His just included the remote start also.)
