  1. well i dont like the idea of that loc tight stuff on the valves... i could have bought some more parts for the air setup BUT i found some original seats for my civic that i wanted more... so that took 100bucks temporary from the build... LOL my old seats where from a newer civic and they didnt sit level plus didnt match and i didnt like that... and the week before i spent another 100bucks for a twinloop muffler cause the old fart can was driving me nuts!!!! heres alittle BEFORE/during/AFTER video of my old turd muffer. and IVE ALSO DECIDED..... to just spend the tax check on all the other air parts i need..... and then my civic will just need some minor stereo upgrades/alarm system for it first and then just body work which just takes awhile to do myself.LOL so instead of puting my tax check on Credit cards.... im gonna buy everything i need all at once! and then instead of spending money on my cars for awhile ill start paying on the credit cards.... SO NOW i just awaiting for my W2 to come so i can do my taxes quickly..... and get that anticipation refund check quickly
  2. o.... didnt think about that....... i dont think id be worried about it geting into the cans but the valves probably would be a bad thing if it holds it open alittle bit.. only downfall now is after siting down and running even more numbers i figure i got a ruffly 700bucks more to spend.... kinda sucks BUT i figure half that cost to get the rear up and going good.... i may hook it up to FB setup and just wait for the FBSS. man i dont know.. i keep WANTING to go slap it on BUT i know deep inside that i should wait to buy everything.... kinda sucks BUT i guess i have to preaty much wait for cash now...... plus not to mention spend another 40bucks for new LCA bushings cause im sure they are seized on these stock struts.... but at least i know the outter LCA bushings arent seized cause i had them off afew months ago and i put on ALOT of antiseize on them.LOL i keep imagining me hitting the switches.....LOL ive played with my dads old 68impala along time ago that had hydros on it and it was fun as hell!!!!! tho hydros where REALY RUFF and when you had a leak it was a HUGE MESS. still got it BUT its been parked in the paint booth for about 10years now.LOL
  3. ok cool.... ill just have to find out what threads are in the cylinders... good to know a site that has great advice and pictures tho i think i might try puting together my own adaptor kit together...... i want my valves mounted in like a U shape piping just to save on space alittle... ill try to fab up the plumbing/valves together this weekend since im off, since i got some misc fittings i should be able to put one set together and just copy it.... and another thing that i think is kinda odd..... why does a air valve have 3 prong terminals when you only use 2 of them? WTF is the 3rd program for.LMFAO
  4. o almost forgot... wondering my top cylinders have 3/8th PTC lines... and tho i havent removed those PTC fitings yet BUT if i cannt get a 1/2 fitting on them.... should i just downgrade the lines to 3/8th from 1/2inch valves?
  5. i thought those pictures automaticaly downsized pictures...... ya i know i like pictures big... i just bought some 1/2inch air line 50ft today, i figure my next purchase will be a switchbox.... and then some fittings at local hardware store... and tho tape does work alright but i kinda like the pipe dope beter...... tho that will be maybe 2weeks or so... that sucks and well id like to buy 8new valves... and i thought of another good use for the extra valves DOG LEG... if having the lower part also pressurised can improve ride quality i might hook up 4 in the front and the other two on the rear passenger side cylinder.... that way i can suck it up to play alittle more... BUT thats just a idea right now.... but i guess it just depends if these valves works not sure.... so many thinks i could use the extra valves for.... like even plumbing up the extra 2 tanks and using one valve to seal them off from the main tank, that way i have quick backup PSI if i do have a overnight leak and i dont want to wait for the compressor to pump up the main tank... just a few ideas, maybe even a train horn... sorry im ranting...LOL but i definatly want that red compressor you guys are rocken.... tho i think ill paint it black just to look preatier.... definatly my new years resolution that if i had to guess id say im about 50% thier..... and well the brackets said it was on a accord, BUT if it doesnt bolt right in.... thats nothing some drills cannt fix but i stick the top bolts up to the top and they line right up, but i have yet to test out the lower front ball but it looks the same... only difference is on the struts ive swaped they have a solid shaft that just has specific indent part for that bolt to lock into.... im not sure if i should put some tack welds around the complete notch to give it something to lock into.... or not worry about it.... i got a extra front fork to experiment with alittle so i can get a perfect fit if i think its needed...
  6. o ya..... well i went to my somewhat local truck shop and it was like 98cents a foot... i just bought 50foot from them just to know i got it now... was like about 48bucks, tho i forgot to ask if they had pushto conectios... tho im preaty sure that compresion fittings are alot easier/cheaper to find localy...
  7. well so far my only new years resolution is to get my 94coupe on air.. ive always wanted air suspension and now i think i can put together a system preaty reasonably priced for my civic and since this is my beater car i have NO PROBLEM cuting anything... ITS GONNA DRAG ITS @SS BELIEVE THAT!!!!!!!!! problem will be finding that height to not drag the muffler as well.... ill weld on my own custom drag blocks/brackets... only FOR SURE THING is it will throw sparks in the rear eventualy! well so far i have quite a few parts that are starting to pile up nicely... now i figure FIRST ill bag the rear cause its easier and its all right thier... so far i have preaty much ALL USED... but i HOPE they all work good or if not o well... so far its been put together preaty cheap... air cans and brackets 160shiped... six 1/2inch valves and misc fittings, 2 air tanks 150bucks... and well so far my concern is two things... what air valves these are and if i need to get new air tanks maybe... also one valve has alot of play on the top valve... i figure just pull the clip thats on it and use some spacer/washers under it... MAYBE. and one wiring prong has been busted off and wire soldered onto it... guy said it works... SO FAR... this is what i got building up... but i figure i can always use the two 2gallon for something else if i cannt use them for full PSI pressure... and the valves... well ill probably still buy 8 new ones and then use these extra valves as backups slash extra switches.... like one on each bag plumbed up inline with some pressure regulators to be set for driving PSI. so i still got a plan for them if any leak or dont work... its not a total loss. and these will be going on my beater/fun ride civic... I GOT NO PROBLEM cuting and welding this sucker. LMFAO i figure my next purchase will be air lines and most likely new fittings cause most the fittings dont look preaty... some dented up, scared up, or just not complete... just misc fittings of course... at least they should be a preaty good reference... probably is its a paycheck to paycheck thing.. and along with bills it can be tight... just hoping to get some good deals on some used stuff here and thier... always looking for a good deal... i got a portable battery pack with a air compressor built into it... and i have a small shop compressor as well that i could put into the car, to use the battery pack for if the air cylinder leak or what not... so i could have a way to recharge it until i have enough cash to buy a compressor... tho i might just hold off... depends on extra cash.... and my desire to slap this stuff together. LMFAO i figure if i can get some air lines and adaptors i can then plumb up some valves together to do some testing. im preaty sure i can figure most of it out myself... just have to spend some time drawing diagrams and some time in lowes/home depo plumbing isle and buy some more pipe dope
  8. not to hijack but would a semi truck place be cheaper for AIR LINE than if ordered online? im curious... i got a semi truck place in driving distance.... and i do want some air lines so i can start playing with the air ride stuff....
  9. top hole.... looks like its in the second hole to me.... BUT i dont think you can get it any lower realy.... only way i can see geting into that top hole is if you weld the nut to the top of the bracket like i see on some that are welded to the top BUT by raising the nut and using the top hole your not gaining any drop realy..... im so ready to airride my 94coupe!!!!!! tho ill be rocken on stock size tires so i SHOULDNT have to worry about as much rubbing.LOL my main concern so far is that front sharp lip that comes down.... ill have to cut it out and weld on a flat piece of metal so it wont cut into the tire... and i REALY LIKE THAT IDEA of labeling the switch box! very smooth! ill definatly copy you on that. LMFAO i think ive ALMOST got enough parts to start and bag my rear.. now i just need air lines and a compressor, pressure switch. and maybe some larger air tanks... i got 2gallon ones but i just read the top of them and its labeled 150PSI MAX.... well that doesnt seem like enough PSI to have to much fun.LOL but im puting a starter kit together right now.... 150 is alot beter than none. LMFAO
  10. ya that taplock thing looks preaty cool... ive only seen one other type of alarm with that kinda modual... which does look alittle cooler but for the price ill go with the one with 2 remote controls! and all the cool addons and cheaper http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...049916&rd=1 ive bought from asian wolf several times and every time they have shiped very fast and almost always answer emails.... sometimes takes them afew days but not to bad at all... hell some ebay sellers NEVER email ya back... total jerks if ya ask me...
  11. hell the main reason i started instaling my own is after i paid like 100bucks to best buy after thier SO CALLED FREE INSTAL.... and then i got up under my 66impalas dash to see that CRAPY INSTAL.... and after that i said WTF i just got HOSED outta 100bucks for alot of BS... it was just a simple alarm instal, just parking lights and starter kill VERY LAME! never again! at least not for anything to older than like 99 or something like that... only ones i dont want to touch anymore is because with like passlock and other types of factory security features... those suck to bypass!!!!!! ive done 2 of them now and they both took me along time to find the proper wires...
  12. you can instal your own alarm... just takes alitle time just remember id estimate with any alarm you only use about 50% of the wires..... dont be afraid not to use most the wires.... not every vehicle has the same type of triggers so they put afew extra ones and different styles..... ive used several high names and afew low names... and so far ive never had a problem with either... my 99civic has a DEI python system, works great only issue i dont care for on the paging alarm systems is they do suck batteries... which kinda sucks BUT what can ya do... its worth the extra security... next one i buy will be a cheaper but loaded unit... this is what i plan on buying for my 94civic eventualy.... http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-2-LCD-PAGER-REMOTE...oQQcmdZViewItem i used thier old version of that alarm and it worked just as good as my DEI alarm... and this ones 100bucks cheaper and comes with ALOT of extra toys....
  13. thanks that was the main goal of the build of my civic has to keep it clean and sweet... no aftermarket body kits, rims sticking out from the car, no rubbing... blabla bla... lots of touches here and thier. to many to list which is why i included all the pictures and links... everything i bought was brand new, no refurbs and done right. 4wheels and tires and a extra rim with ABSOLUTLY NO curbs or scratches on any of the wheels! the extra 5th rim was just as a precaution just incase i was to bend a rim or curb them... anyone that has ever scuffed a rim knows why a spare is a great idea stereo metered like 136.6db on the new termlab. sounds great with still leaving alittle trunk space, and still runing stock alternator, RF amplifier was benched at 1,620watts RMS something close to that and the subwoofer is a REaudio 12inch SX dual 2ohm.... tho with the amplifier mounting bracket opened up the trunk does rattle more now... but when i did the instal thier was VERY LITTLE trunk rattle which was the main reason for the front firing box setup, and the trunk setup can all be removed with just a few screws here and thier with only i think 6 small screw holes in the trunks floorboard along the sides. no slopy foam or anything to chop out. clean and simple as well as effective hoping to sell complete..... BUT i got no problem puting the car back mostly stock and then selling... i can swap back the stock suspension no problem tho it will need a alignment afterwards to get it all proper! i could even swap the OEM SI front grill out for the stock EX front grill. swap back stock headlights and pull the HIDs. pull hood damperners and put stock hood prop on it, swap stock cup holder back in. and even keep my amplifier, sub to lower the price. but all within reason. im not going to sell the car less than blue book... and at my COMPLETE AS-IS PRICE ITS A STEAL!!!!!!!!! everything done right no cheap suspension parts or okward parts only part that could be tweaked is the trunk alittle. very minor. but a HUGE STEAL for the price..... I PAID 8K BUCKS FOR THE CAR AROUND 1-2YEARS AGO.... and that was completly stock. and ive easily put 3K+ bucks into the car!

  15. this is what the car looked like when i bought the car. and this is EXACTLY WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE NOW.... http://s40.photobucket.com/albums/e250/add...-25-07%204sale/ it is currently been parked for the last month or two inside my dads garage, free from road salt, tho it is a bit dirty but not to bad.... only slight problem is the amplifier mount in the rear has fallen down, i used some steel to make the amplifier rack and over time of the weight of the amplifier and vibrations has kinda rolled the MDF down so the amplifier siting how it should, but still works great just doesnt look as good as i wanted it to be... ive been meaning to just take out the amplifier rack and just mount the amplifier flat to the wall but ive just been to busy or lazy to do it... also my old orion had a bass knob i had mounted in the center console so it has a hole thier... and my new RF remote bass controls are just laying thru the car thru the Ebrake opening.
  16. well id rather not sell my baby BUT id realy like to buy a hatchback....now this price is FIRM no way in hell i would take any less without taking stuff off the car!!!!!! PRICE $8,400bucks CASH.... for it as it sits.... $6,500bucks cash without the nice rims and no alpine dvd radio unit... NO DELIVERY CRAP......   19. well a dual alt setup COULD FIT..... BUT youll have to lose your AC and put the alt thier with your own fabed up brackets.... i thought about it for my civic BUT....... well NO AC..... now that can be bruatal some summer days!!!!!! LOL
  20. a........ well doesnt have to be a monster motor... just something to move that weight easier hell i cannt realy do a turbo on my sohc cause i got a auto tranny and dont realy wanna swap in another larger motor/tranny and then loose my MPG i hope to get me a RF T10001bd or a T2....... but the T1 should have enough power to push my SX12 to its fullest and now that i know my old radio was messed up it should be alot louder with the 1200-1500watts! wish i knew my radio was jacked internaly 3years ago when i had my 18inch XXX and 2 15 SXs in my truck!!!!!!!! that pisses me off more than anything! and now im geting jerked around by my brother thats buying my truck saying my truck is a POS tho i told him the 2 MINOR qwirks before he ever got it... i think its just gas prices kicken his @ss in that thing.LMFAO 3.39 a gallon can change your mind quick on a 20gallon tank. LMFAO so now he isnt paying me for the truck... so looks like thier goes my amplifier purchase before this stereo comp next month
