    yea, but I don't have the app thing on my computer where you can save a screen so I'll have to use a camera. it'll be crossed over at 80hz. You will be fine. Although there will be a bit more group delay with a longer port and it will be less efficient than a shorter one How bad do you think it would be?

    ok well I can't find my SDHC card for my camera but Net Volume: 2.40 cu-ft. Port Area Range: 28-23 in sq. Port Area: 33.75 in sq. Port Area Per Foot: 14.06 in sq. Tuning Frequency: 25.99 (I know that seems freakishly low but this was the only tuning that would effectively let me hit 28hz in WinISD & I love my lowwww notes anyways so I figured to just go with it, but I could be wrong)

    Can a port be too long? I have been going back and forth between WinISD Pro Alpha & Torres' Calculator and on one my enclosures I came up with a 50" long port, but port area & port area range were good. Would there be any problems with that long of a port?

    You should download WinISD Alpha Pro, put in all your T/S Parameters & go through all of the enclosures to find which one would suit your needs. That should help out alot.

    I live in the Tri-Cities so i'm only about 2 hours away but I don't have a term-lab nor do I know anybody with one since there doesn't seem to be anybody legitimately into systems around here.

    So I have been going through a bunch of songs that I listen to daily & put them into Audacity & noticed that alot of them were pretty Red, Clipped & have amplitudes of -1.5 & up, I have been trying different ways to help round out the clipped waveforms & here's the best one that I've "Cleaned Up" so far. So I was wondering if my version is any better than the original & safe to play. Here is an example. Top one is my version & Bottom is original.

    Honestly I didn't think it was that bad. Didn't like the chorus though. Could proabably make it fairly big in the underground scene imo if they did some shows n stuff.

    How do I go about setting my gains with the DD-1 while using an EQ that has gains at 45Hz, 100Hz, 700Hz, 2kHz and 15kHz? I was thinking of creating tones in audacity & setting 100 - 2khz with a -5db tone & find the clipping point for each frequency & 15khz with a -10db tone since songs normally roll off around 10-12khz. Would this work? Or should I use a -5db tone all around?

    Yea, it's net volume. I saw your box was designed by Ram_Designs, how much does he charge? He could probably design a box better than I can.

    Ok, so I'm pretty set on an Obsidian now. How does 2.05 cu ft. w/ 32hz tuning sound? I tried to stay as close to the 2 cu ft recommendation as I could.
