also remember with a 15, its only made for hitting lows. so if your considering it, dont plan on listening to any metal. Thats not correct. A 15 can play anything, all depends on a box enclosure. And for your application i would do 2 sa-12s off a audioque 1200d and add another down the road. right, my mistake, a 15 in a larger ported box wont play the notes from a double bass pedal very well...

im running a kicker L7 15" in my jeep, ported & itll knock the wind out of ya. its also a jeep... so the whole inside of the car is barely 10 cubic feet. makes a big difference how big the car is.

i currently use it on my iphone4, works so much better. without it, id plug my phone in, loose all the album artwork & itd shuffle my songs which i had no control over. even if you dont like it, cant hurt too bad for $1.99

they do sell filters you plug directly to your rca's that eliminate the noise, i used some a while back.

i have 2 of them in my jeep dedicated to a winch & 1600 watts @ 1 ohm. no problems yet
