ok well i was gonna buy a new amp but i love this amp and im broke......so......it started off as a bad ground and it quit working.....fixed the ground and now it sometimes works and sometimes doesnt....when it decides to work...the amp slowly gets louder and then will work at normal sound for like 30 mins and then stops again....now i look at it and the protect light doesnt come on.....all the wire connections are in good working order....now when i get in the car in the morning and hit the "amp" switch (12v remote) i can hear that it comes on and is playing but no where near what its sposed to be....like it was on volume lvl 1....so memphis wants 150 to repair it and im broke.....and so b4 i beg the wife for the money i thought id chk in here to see if this may be a fixable thing.....ty in adv.....

what is the reputation of soundstream? more specifically the picasso 1300w amps?

My thread got deleted and it had a few great ideas in there so when i came back today to start research the thread was gone.....so.... i have 2 exile 12's that are pretty good actually.....and a memphis audio 1000.1...the amp took a dump and now i need a 1k watt amp for no more the 250 bux (wife put the foot down)....any help would be appreciated.....(btw i searched and saw some ideas but with this hobby and the stuff coming out everyday i posted in hopes of new info...thx again )

yea i had it off for awhile...but i believe that if you mod something it should have full functionality and after i put a kenwood fold out dvd, memphis audio amp and 2 12's i want the mirror to stay put so i can have that functionality.....

ok so im happy with my system, but i cant keep my rear view from falling off...what are you guys with HUGE systems doing to keep it on....my system is 1k watts (for now) with 2 12's and it keeps rattling off....any help? been professionally put on twice and last like a month then BOOM ....off...thx in advance...
