Get a 12v fan, or some sort of something you can put a bit of a load on the cell. We had a d7500, that would hold VOLTAGE, but, the second we hooked up a small fan to the posts, the voltage tanked, meaning there was a dead cell in there (or two).
If it holds voltage, and can hold a load, who cares how old it is. Run it. But, i would check it before installing it. Good luck.

Yes. The flicker is nothing. You want the light to stay ON to detect noise. The lil flicker at the start of doin it, isnt what your looking for. Your looking for a constant ON, then back off a bit.

Awesome man. Like you, before I attempted the blazer build, I watched others before me,... I hear a few at like autorama 2011 or so, and I was hooked!!! Then, just said FUCK IT and dove in head first. Never used mud, never used fiber glass, had no fuckin clue what I was doin lol. Just went for it... wish you best of luck bro.
And , I'm sorry boo, but, I'm kinda done with the audio thing. I've moved to other shit. Kinda done with shows, competing. Kenny, I think will drag the pile around here and there, but no idea if he will do slam, or what. Me,. I'm pretty done with it all.

Well done Ty. Man, oHHhhhhhh man does that bring back memories dude. That looks almost identical to my sdime blazer build. I also went over the top of wheel wells, with FG,... the hole 9yards. Looks sooooo familure man. Makes me itch, an sweat just looking at it. I remember, sitting inside that shell for hours, when it was 105 out, my phone blowing up , with friends/members on here, and else where. Was some fucking great times mate. Nice job bud. Nice job. I think youll like it

Power, when the KEY IS ON, and 0 when the key is off. A keyed power source. Any, KEY'd ON source. Like, the keyed on wire to your head unit. Same same....
Meter, set to DCvolts. Hot to the fuse or wire or whatever, Ground to metal.
Is there 12v with the key off?
Yes- Find another source/fuse on fuse block
No- Turn key on,......... is there 12v with key on?
No- Find another source/fuse on fuse block
Yes- Tap into it. Enjoy

Good on ya. At least you recognize that. I was getting a group of peeps together, to get our CCL,. More i got the cheaper. Anyway, i asked one friend , he said "sure!!". Got the full count needed, and scheduled the dude to come to my pad in 2 weeks time. During that, i was with the same dude, in a car. Jesus Christ, he would go OFF while driving about the other drivers. On and on. None fucking stop. I said "dude, .. you sure, your ok carrying ???" and had a bit of a long convo about it.
In the end, he chose AGAINST it,.. which, i think, FOR HIM, was the smart idea.

Creepin up on him, pulling my gun from my appendix holster and putting it to his head, to wig him out, and just calmly ask "what we doin here boss??" does come to mind though. Way to stay level headed in a real hot situation bro. Just hard to say, how i would really react, in that situation......
Any damage done? I was at the shop, chillin the night you graciously let a few of us ( we where in Cali for the Autorama show/to compete) chill at SMD HQ, and showed us all monster hospitality,... only to have one of the group, eat that up, and then, fuck you over. Not cool. Not in the least mate.
Hard for me to understand, how such shitty things can happen to a person that is just doing their own thing, not hurting anyone, but also helps his fellow man. Its hard to get how that shit works in my head.

^^^^^ that... I hate using deck power to run anything. Get a small dedicated amp for the mids a d highs. One of the best upgrades you, or anyone can do mate. Deck power blows.
