I saw your build SQMonte, I was hoping you would chime in. So the easiest thing to do would be the LOC? He would rather stick with the stock HU instead of an after market one. Also, what's an alright brand to go with? He doesn;t want a complete piece of shit but also doesn't want to spend much on it. The system is just 2-12's off a 500 watt amp so it is nothing major, just a little bumb.

Where can I get a hi to low converter at? What brands are good? whre does it wire into? The amp has a high level input on it. I dont really have a clue about this stuff, everything I have done is with an after market HU. Thanks

I'm installing a system in a friends 03 monte carlo, and I'm confused. He bought a wiring harnes so i can put in the head unit and it was the wrong one for the car, so we went back to get another one but the only one for montey carlos we could find were 95-99. So i called a friend who installs at ABC Warehouse and he told me that they dont make them for that car and we would have to put in something to bypass the stock amp, im not sure what he is talking about. I have seen people use the stock HU and still have a system, but I dont have a clue how to do that, since there is no RCA hook ups. How could I hook up the amp with leaving the stock HU in there? Thanks

Best thing to do is call or go there and tell them what you want to do and see what they can do for you. Dan Severn (if you know who he is) has a camp/gym by me and he does training at all levels, from people that have no clue of what theyre doing to people with years of experience. Most places teach basics and everything at what ever pace you go at.

Every once in a while I have this virus scanning thing pop up on my internet. For example- if I'm on youtube, it changes from youtube to this scanning thing. The only protection software on my computer is the Norton Protection Center thing, only because it came on here. I have it scan through everything a few times a day and the only thing that ever come up is a tracking cookie. Not sure what it is, but here is a pic of what comes up. Oh alright. There are three people from my town that are pulling there, one guy has two tractors, and there is about 40 or so of us who go down.

I went last year for the first time, It was awesome. Why aren't you going this year? I dont even know where we are camping at this year, we were on the north side last year, but we dont get the same spot this year.

Come find me man, we are camping there. Have an orange and black school bus that says road hawg on the side. We bring huge amounts of apple pie. we drink 10am-6am. We will be all over the place and loud as fuck.

Come down man, You could take 75 all the way there, the track is maybe 15 minutes from 75. At the Fair grounds. Get some people around and come party.

This is 10am-12am of non stop pulls fri-sunday, plus it's national championships so it will be all the better ones. Being wasted the hole time with lots of girls wearing very little if anything at all. Going to be camping there.

Any body going to the tractor pull (NTPA) nationals this weekend in Bowling Green OH? It's a great time. Tractor and truck pulls all day, lots of drinking, and lots of girls. Here's some highlights of the pulls last year It's worth going even if it's a far drive, 5 hours on our bus for us all. I'll post up pics and vids of some of the weekend.

That's what happens when you blow up a turbo. The inside pieces pretty much shatter and go right through the engine and tear everything appart. Thats the reason (in truck pulls) that diesel trucks with a surtain amount of power now have to have an elbow on the exhaust facing up if they dont have a stack because people have been hit by the pieces (hurt/killed).

Our valedictorian my senior year did that for his speech during graduation. He used water instead of beer though.
