The paper work sundown provides say they are well suited to 4th orders. Yeah I ha a buddy fix it and then it was more flat. But like Cable guy said I want throat tickling bass. Can a 4th order give that. If I'm cutting my pride and joy I want it perfect.

That right there is a great answer. The problem is I don't really want to cut out the whole back wall .. Is there anything that can be done but without cutting out the whole back wall?

I graphed the box in bass box pro and it Isn't very flat. Cuts off at about 46 hz. One note wonder. I heard the sa12s aren't very good in a 4th order. What do you guys suggest I do? I really want to stay with sundown.

This deck came in my truck and I loved it. The problem is when me and my dad ran the new wires for my components I got engine wine out of the speakers and we decided it was the deck. I then put in a different test deck but grounded it to the floor so I didn't have to undo the previous harness. The sound went away so I just bought a new deck, hooked it up and the sound was back. Long story short we determined it a bad ground in the truck... I would still have this deck if I hadn't already bought the new one. Nothing is wrong with this deck. No scratches on the screen. Has front and rear aux cords with a sub output. Comes with the harness and trim plate. I will also toss in the peripheral ipod hook up.. has aux inputs, ipod hook up, fused, and headphone jack hookup. Will trade for a nicer set of components. Asking $80.00 Here are the specs. 50wx4 load impedence 4-8 ohms.

Im running 2 sa-8's on a bd1000.1 so ill be in street stock. I talked to the judge so I will have time before the comp to find my peak. Im doing db drag for my first one so I can get the hang of things for bass race.

So as the title says I have my first dB drag tomorrow. I want to do the best I can, so I need all the tips I can get..

In my opinion everything sounds good in my truck except the song "No Hands" by waka Flaka ! Anyone know what it peaks at or any of that?? Everyone seems to love it but it doesnt sound good to me in the truck. Anyone know why?!

So a while back I had to send in one of my sa-8s because of a weird clapping type noise. They re coned it and the noise quit. Well now the other one is doing it. I assume my box is tuned wrong causing the subs to bottom out. It's just weird they both aren't Doing it, only the one. Can I still get a re cone kit for the v.1?? Please let me know! What else could it be? Any ideas why it's happening? They are getting 1200 watts from a bd1000 tuned with the dd1 on a stock alt. Thanks
