  1. i would ask braingetter . . . running similar setup LINKAGE
  2. i'm running 4 12 in cathodes, 3 4 in cathodes, blue led overhead replacement, and 2 15 in cathodes. looking to buy an underbody shortly. i love that blue glow and it matches so very nicely with my cap.
  3. i'm starting to do a bit of cathodes and lighting. made use of that crappy little wallet holder. STICK Shifting 4x4 ftw:
  4. When I had a back seat I had a probox with 2 memphis 10s downfiring on a memphis 1000 watt amp. They sounded very nice. But as everyone knows it will never be loud enough. Fixin to scrap the stuff I got now.
  5. what do you need a backseat for? hahahaha another little creative idea: (here you can keep a seat, and still have slap. My best friend just got a 08 Ext. Cab Silvarado and is gettin rid of the back seat in favor of a custom bench seat enclosure with 2 l7 12s. Leather wrapped and padded top for backside support)
  6. considering he's not wanting to upgrade a whole lot of electrical or upgrade the amp. The only real gain at the most value I could see doing is picking up another l7 15.
  7. l7 15 is rated at 1000 rms and 2000 peak. I give mine 1250 each daily no prob. You are probably runnin that. I just looked at the amp you were using. Yea I wouldn't go higher than that 2600 on the 15s. Risk tearing something up. Try 3 15s? Haha
  8. 2 15s are pretty nasty. if you want louder, consider getting a better (bigger) amp for your subs. I've never heard the btls so I can't give you a whole lot of feedback on em. Only thing I know is cone area is what gets you big sound. Now again, as said before, everything is determined by how well the build is put together.
  9. I'm gonna be running 2 ZX2500.1s so about 1250 rms to each 15.
  10. i don't care for it either. I just how like how the corporate version is very resource friendly.
  11. haha i'm in the same boat. i'm bout to get 2 more l7s. it's never loud enough
  12. Wonderful thing about going to lsu is all the free software we get. Vista ultimate 64 bit - free, norton anti-virus corporate ed. - free you get the point
  13. i have a buddy that somehow managed to get vista to install on an athalon 64 with 256 mb of ram. It ran yes, but how it performed is another story. You see steady performance upgrades with each piece you upgrade. More ram, better processor, video card etc. I'm not going to make this a vista hate thread because I have to sell it. Again it just comes down to what the consumer is trying to do. If they are into gaming or video/photo editing or anything processor/ram/vid card intensive then yet it's gonna run slow. Average joe blow isn't going to know the difference or know if their brand new computer is running slow in comparison to the new quad core machine that was a few hundred dollars more than they could afford.
  14. I'm not saying I'm an expert. I fiddle with them and (rarely) assume legality when dealing with xp. However, yes, in the legal world. It would be cheaper to get another gig of 2700 ram than get a copy of xp. Vista will work fine yes with 1 gb of ram. But your computer will perform much better on xp. Vista is just pack full of visual and useless effects that draw on your resources.
  15. you are running vista ultimate with 1 gb of pc 2700 (fairly slow ram) and an athalon 64. Your computer in general should be running slow as hell. I sell computers for a living and even new computers with 1 gb of ram, dual core processors, and vist premium run slow. You need 2-3 gb of pc 5300 and a high end processor to run vista ultimate WELL as in not SLOW. Downgrade to vista premium or basic. Hell downgrade to xp and you will be fine. edit: read the rest of this, an anti-virus is a very resource intensive program. Along with vista ultimate your computer should have been running super slow. I would look into downgrading to xp.
  16. i was asleep when the bad stuff came through. My power went out and came back on shortly after. Didn't take a look outside though.
  17. i think i'll take this as i sign to save up for my cervini hood and x2000 bed cover. gonna take a while but i'll get em
  18. paint, i'm prolly not gonna do it. I'm a broke ass college student. I can't afford that now or ever for that matter.
  19. local body shop quoted me 1000 bucks to fix the bed cover and hood . . .
  20. i'm prolly gonna get a new bed cover, that one has all kinds of problems with the hinges and some deep scratches in the rear of it from backing in to some stuff.
  21. I got a shit load of scratches all over my hood, roof, and bed cover (for reasons that won't be mentioned because of previous thread lock). Is there a cheap way to fix them. I'll try and get some pics up
  22. who calls it pop? must be a yankee thing coke zero ftw!
