I dont think you should strap your amps, as I have found they can be really in effecient, and after doing some testing on my car i unstrapped and man I gained big time. so something to keep in mind. I was strapped at .35 and was losing a ton of power as heat, not real familiar with your amps tho

I use my touch on flat, i went to the ipod for the purpose of not having to carry cd book anymore, skipping has never been an issue for me, but I believe flat is the way and i dont have any problems with some of my files being louder than others.
