First this thread is kinda pointless where as it is a vs and will more than likely be cluttered with arguments before long as they all do.. And there are to many opinions to really get anywhere Second no matter what anyone says its your choice in which you choose, any of the mentioned subs will do you well All that said, 18s are out there is simply no enough space, 2 12s are pushing it I personally say 3.5 cubes after displacement will be to small for those as well, one 15 would enjoy being ported at around 3-4 cubes, so that would narrow it down quite a bit.. I have heard the Q and the BL and from my personal experience I would say the Q would be more suited out of those two Between the Q and the SSD I Cannot say because I have neve heard or seen the ssd in person, but judging by specs I still favor the Q I don't mean to come off like a dick, just being blunt, cuz I'm tired of sugar coating everything

I would love to know this as well, I recently built a 4th order similar to the first one in question and for the time being it seems to be working quite well and as far as I can tell there aren't any loading issues.. But I may be wrong..

To me it symbols the moral values I live my life by and what got me thru the hard times I've had so far and to help me get thru the ones that come in future times Only pics I have of my current two

Yes it would be .24 an the only way to know is trial and error, find someone with a term lab and play every freq and see which one scores the best

When you did a single baffle instead of a double it gave you more room in the box and actually lowered your tuning freq, it looks alright to me other than the port is a little tiny

Actually a single baffle would make it 31.69 hz

For an areo port you just put 1 port diameter 4 and you length the height and width are for slot ports. And you didn't put any Woofer displacement, both of those things will make a difference also there is no need for height and depth two demensions of its not angled.. I would fix those things and post it back up

So the first box in this post was to big to fit in the guys car lol oops, so luckily another guy stopped by and saw it and offered me 50 bucks and this jl j2 500.1 for it so I tol him to bring me the money and amp lol so now I have to build him another box this time he gave me the specs 32 wide 16 tall and 24 deep... I made him let me measure it as well and those specs look alot better.. Anyone wanna throw those specs in torres in see what they can come up with? 2 15s and he wants it ported to 33-36 hz.. Going to be small

The 4th order is a tad small as well, I know this but he wanted to push around 800 watts a sub or more so I compensated in box size, still is way louder than when i had them in a 7ft^3 ported box.. As for the other box those abs are junk and that's all the room he had to work with

Those ab 15s are svc and kinda crappy, seemed to like smaller boxes, plus thats all the room he had to work with..

Then another buddy texts me asking about a blow thru, he had two type r 12s in a normal ported box thru a whole in between the cab and bed, and wanted something better, so after buying two of my old cvrs and getting some wood we threw him together a 4th order which sounds amazing!!! Specs are 2:1 ratio 2.8ft3 sealed 5.6ft3 ported Both are after displacements taken out, port is 19in^2 per cube and 105in^2 port area tuned at 48.5 hz and has a nice range and sounds amazing, louder than when i had two in a normal ported box..

My buddy wanted to build a box for two 15s, that was ported and didn't know how, so I got his max demensions and threw something together, got to carpet it tmrw..

I just finished one today for 2 kicker cvr 15s and they sound way better and are considerably louder than they where Ina tradition slot ported box tuned to 33 hz.. New box is tuned at 49hz 2:1 3 cubes sealed 6 cubes ported after displacement with 20in^2 of port per cube.. Has a very wide freq range and isnt very peaky, so all the music we played thru it, normal rap rock and even c&s sounde phenomenal

I remember from one of my first meca comps that one of the judges said they switched to the tl around 04ish.. I may b wrong tho Edit: build looks good dude, I want to see pics of current build!!
