  1. I don't see where it would be touching the ground and yes, it is wired up correctly.
  2. which.. the power or ground they are both fresh out of the box so i don't see why i'd have to replace. but if i have to i will
  3. I checked it out and failed to find any possible place it would be shorting, I'm not 100% positive though.
  4. EDIT: I know what you mean actually, I'm going to go check all of the wires right now for any scrapes or openings.
  5. Alright, I was doing a small system install for my friend and have run into some issues I cannot figure out. The 4-gauge positive wire is going from the amp to the positive jump post of the battery. 80 amp in-line fuse for the positive wire. 30x2 fuse on the power akoustik amp. The ground cable is hooked to a bolt on the frame. RCA and Turn-on wire properly hooked up to deck. Speaker wire to sub. THE PROBLEM: When i put the in-line fuse in, (keys not even in car) with all the wires hooked up to the amp, the 2 fuses in the amp pop. When i put the in-line fuse in with JUST THE POWER WIRE there is no reaction until i touch the ground to the part on the amp, then the fuses pop. I believe that the problem is the ground wire, but am not positive, I have tried multiple spots and the same thing happens. Could it be that the 80 amp in-line fuse is too much to put in there compared to the 30x2 fuses in the amp? Help would be greatly appreciated.
  6. 2 Pioneer subwoofers with box - 800 watts peak and 250 watts RMS each. Asking $100 Sony amp - 1200 watts max - 200X2 RMS (4 ohms) Asking $100 Can buy separate, but $200 together I doubt anyone would be interested in any of this, but maybe someone looking for a small, cheap system.
  7. da blow - lil jon while we are on the subject of hard-hitting but yet terrible songs and throw ya hood up - lil jon lil jon just sucks his bass is good tho
  8. I feel really lame asking this, but say i was to get another battery, to put in the back by my amp, not in the hood, how would i hook it up, would i hook it up through the alternator or the battery under the hood?
  9. the original is better, the one on his album
