I just bought a Fi BL motor and well aparrently the recone from fi cost like over 200 bucks for a recone with the baskets which mean I may have been better off just buying a brand new one.... So does anyone have a basket and even possible a recone?

I'm looking for a good usb headunit preferably pioneer. I would like one like the AVH 3200DVD single din with a nice screen would work too. I just want to run all my files from a usb and be able to scroll down on the headunit through all the artist instead of burning cds.... I'm also looking for a Crescendo bc2000d for a Fi BL 18.

I think I'm going to order the 18 basket and fi bl recone. Any advice on reconing and put a new basket on is it as easy as it seems?

Really you did so no dc.... I'm thinking I'm going to just order the basket and soft parts from fi and do it myself anybody got some advice?

I got an email back from fi it soind kinda computer generated.... how hard is it to put on a new basket for an 18 fi bl and recone it is it harder than just a recone of am I overcomplecating it? Oh and I'm still waiting for a reply from psi. Doesn't psi make subs like even better I mean they have to Exo and a bunch of other competitors use them. How would you compare a stock sub to a psi recone of the same sub?

So would Fi or Psi be the only way I could get this reconed? I plan on running it of a crescendo bc2000.

I just purchase a fi bl motor. I've already sent fi audio and psi emails about recones would I possibly have any other options to make a hybrid speaker like dc soft parts or audioque soft parts to make it more unique?

The head is stripped

So it really works? Sweet I gotta get that kit now I'm about to get a fi motor but the basket attached to it has stripped bolta.

How would I remove stripped bolts from the sub basket to separate the motor and basket if I was trying to go for a bigger cone area?

Okay I think I will get one before I do my entire system rebuild what I have now is temporary.
