  1. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-American-Bass-XD-844-8-600-Watt-Dual-4-Ohm-Sub-/200647872880?pt=Car_Subwoofers_Enclosures&hash=item2eb78b9170 forget what i said about the sundowns. do this, and you CANNOT go wrong.
  2. i would definitly fuck with some 8's. my buddy just did 1 skar vvx8 in his standard cab f150 and it bangs like a 12. if i were you, id grab 2+ sundown SA 8s. and let me know when you do, id love to meet up for a demo.
  3. lookin for the prices on subs, SHIPPED to 14622! still weighing my options, but im thinkin of... 4 lvl 2 8"s or 2 lvl 3 10"s or 1 lvl 4 15.
  4. im not going for fast anymore, i have 11 points on my liscense from my celica. definitly SQ, but i still wanna get nice and loud.
  5. im sure the wing isnt necessary, maybe on the STI, but this isnt too fast. I was thinking a couple 12s. I'm not looking into walling it, MAYYYYBE sealing off the trunk...
  6. just picked this up today, I know it's not ideal for car audio, but it's what I wanted and I got a great deal on it. Any ideas of what I should do to make it loud? Not looking to run more than 2k rms
  7. obviously the one up top
  8. I think im just gonna go with the Crescendo BC2k. I've heard only good things.
  9. i used to run a pair of type R 12's @ 1ohm on this amp. never got the chance to get it metered, but if i had to guess, i'd say 142ish. i just really dont understand, everyone says some shit like "every 10amps of fusing is 100 watts"... this amp only had 120 amps of fusing, and tbh, my buddys Autotek AT2000 (1krms supposedly) is just as loud, if not louder. That's almost shameful...
  10. i was at 2 ohms actually. voltage was decent, not sure what it was, but i was hovering around 2,000rpm before and during the burp.
  11. no i didnt clamp it. i used to run a Rockford T500.1bdcp (birthsheet read 800@1) and this amp got me only 2.7dB louder.. Plus i was running a single Rockford P3 12, and i dont think it would stand a chance on 1800 watts.
  12. lolllllll im not a fuckin billionaire!
  13. lol im guessing this was probably before they were made in korea. yeah mine def didnt do any 1800watts. it was more than enough power for what i had, but not nearly enough for the subs I plan on getting.
  14. would that be alright with a stock alternator do you think?
  15. right now i'm running an american bass 100.1. its rated at 1500watts but im pretty sure its overrated. it only has 120amps of fusing. im looking to upgrade to an amp that will do a LEGIT 1500-2000 watts, without being more than 400 bucks. i will be using a stock alternator, so im not looking for more than 2k rms. How are the Hifonics Brutus amps? they seem pretty good for the money. any suggestions?
  16. im not sure about what hes running up front, but i remember seeing a pair of Kinetic HC2400s in back
  17. when i build boxes, i ask the person what kind of music they mainly listen to. If they listen to rock, country or metal, i'll do 12-13. I think it lets the bass guitar and kickdrums sound really nice. If the person listens to alot of rap, techno or dubstep, i'll do 14-16 depending on how much air they want to move.
  18. Met up with Jodie and Mike from TNESPL the other day to play around on the termlab. This is just and introduction to what i'm running in my car for now...One 12" P3 on American Bass VFL 100.1 This is one of my termlab runs. I hit a perfect 140.0 the run before this, welcoming me to the club. And this is Mike Envoy. His new build is a pair of American Bass HD 15s on a pair of AQ2200d's. This was my first time hearing a 150+ i believe... It was a good birthday.
