Yep your right I dont have a DD-1 or O scope even though i want a DD-1 badly just cant see spending the money on it just to set my amp.. I do have a DMM though how would I go about using that?? My HU was at 48 of 62 when I set my amp and the loudest I usually ever turn it up is like 52-54 BB is off and Gain is a little more than half and the sub still gets a little warm.. not as warm as it was before but should it not get warm at all??

No it wasnt even near hot just warm lol.. And I had already turned the gain down and bass EQ too.. im pretty sure Bass EQ is Bass Boost so I should turn that completly down??

Yeah the stinger 12 gauge fit just about perfect.. I had to twist the hell out of them but they work

How warm should the voice coils get?? Should it even get warm at all?? I just got my ONX1.1000D installed today and got everything set up after about 5 minutes of playing I noticed a smell not really a burning smell though anyway I cut everything off and put my hand on the center of the cone and it was pretty warm.. This is the first time the sub has really seen any power my old amp was some POS kole audio 600 watt max amp so it wasnt enough to even try and power it.. Sub is VVX-12 gain was between 1/2 and 3/4 and Bass EQ was about halfway

Any clue on when you'll get the next batch of 15s??

Are you running 2 wires to 1 terminal? If so how did you pull that off??

Thanks guys I ended up going to a audio shop this morning and tried a few wires.. ended up getting some stinger 12 gauge it just barely fits in without having to trim anything.. The guy had never heard of Skar before and asked me to bring it in.. he looked a little shocked when I walked in with it lol.. I guess he was thinking it was gonna be some cheap POS sub lol

Sorry if this is a dumb question but what gauge speaker wire should I run on my D2 VVX-12? I tried using 10 gauge to wire it up but I couldn't get it to fit in the terminals since I'm wiring it for 1 ohm load.. amp is a MB Quart 1.1000d btw..
