  1. ied make a special trip to go see this i think its cool as hell
  2. haha, do deaf people have sound in there dreams? i got a good question, how does a blind person know when there ass is clean when they finish wiping? i useto be color blind but ive gotten better threw the years, now a friend of mine is color blind and cant tell what color the stop lights are, just where there lit up at
  3. ya i guess fake too, but still cool tho
  4. seems that way to me too but google pritty much runs things around here so i dont see how it could be fake i might just dl google earth and search it myself just to see
  5. i think this is pritty cool Amazing and unusual places found with Google Earth. http://www.wimp.com/unusualplaces/ reason for edit: i think this has to be either a fake of some sort or some kinda freaky shit that i cant even beleve if it was real or not
  6. i never figured out why cerwin did the subs like that, what does it change with a spider on top of woofer? the new strokers use this tech but still never figured out why or what difference it made i love the sound of cv's but the strokers u got with that kinda surround makes em look more like beefy pa subs lol im useto seeing them with the rolled surrounds vs the accordian looking one, but all in all looks like its wangin
  7. ddmtuning ftmfw! i love em and so have anyone else i kno that runs them i got 8000k 35w h4 hi/low and i love them, i got a set of maxcar 8000k 35w low beams that i ordered some 5000k h3 bulbs from ddm to pare with my ballasts for my fog lights and imo unless u are just going for a look, i would get 55w 5000k hids and u wont be dissapointed at all, i love my fogs ddm has a lifetime warrenty on all there hid parts and what knot so its a great combo, i payed $200 for my maxcar hids so i say its one hell of a deal, not saying futurevision is a bad company but most people dont have that kind of money
  8. actually i might redo my grounds and run the ground from my engine block to my passanger side strut bolt and my ground off battery neg to drivers side strut bolt i dunno what to do with my rear battery ground unless i bolt it where my cab bolts to frame, i normally use seat belt bolts but since i have some issues with one bolt i might try to ground to it and since its stripped put a nut on the end of it and run a jumper wire from it to my frame, should help with light dimming and with amp wired to 1ohm while at idle i drop in the 11's lol, i think i got enough wire to do this with
  9. thanks so theres two grounds for the batt thats what the third one was well they can be but depends on how u want to go about doing it most people with bigger setups will run a ground wire from alt bolt to battery neg with a dist block to help better ground the electrical system but u would want to run a wire from engine block to somewhere on chassis or frame (but check around ur engine to see where ur factory wires are as u can use these spots to help make ur big 3 look alot cleaner) and then just run a wire from battery neg to chassis or frame (where ever factory wire is i would try that first)
  10. there note step by step pics but its ok for what it is here is my dist block and connections (the 250amp fuse goes to my back battery, and my 150amp fuse is for my alt *my alt aint but 70amps but all had was a 150amp fuse*) here u can see the wire comeing off my alts + leg (as u can see my factory wireing is pritty shitty but i left it there just in case) here is ground comeing from engine block (i used same type wire for all my big 3 but just rapped this wire with black electrical tape) here is ground going to firewall (always skuff where ur grounds are going to be secured and if possable try to anchor with a bolt and nut for a better result *for me i just replaced where they where and its worked great so far*) and here is my ground comeing from my battery neg (like i said earlier, try and skuff where grounds will be secured with a course grade sand paper) hope this helps out a lil bit on how to do it
  11. big 3 means 1.u run a wire from alt + to battery +, u can fuse this or not but depending on wire lingth i always fuse mine, u can also keep stock alt wire intact too to help out a lil better 2. run wire from battery neg to chassis ground 3. run wire from somewhere on engine or where factory ground is located and run a wire from there to chassis i took my ground wires off cause they was around 12awg(guage) wire and wouldn't have helped much anyways and replaced with 0guage Note: if u to decide to fuse ur alt try and find out how many amps ur alt is and try to stay just a bit higher than its rated output so it will still protect it but not put a strain on alt hope this helps, i have pics of my big 3 if that will help
  12. well i got some speakers from my uncles when they moved and i went to hook them up the other day and they was really crackly sounding so last night i took them apart and the surround is gone i kinda made one out of electrical tape for temp just to keep from having coil rub these are oldschool pioneers, whats the wierd part is that they have a square cone on the woofer and midrange drivers i never would have thought these being this old would have this technology but i guess they do i kinda sorta fixed em with electrical tape for temp and it works but imo feels tacky as hell but works there a 3way setup with a 4'' square woofer, a 2'' i think square midrange and like a 1/2''x3'' tweeter in a ported cabnet ied like to try and restore these to atleast working order but i dont think this can be done only place i can think of that might be able to do this is kicker but i dont think they would do it, prolly cost more than the speakers are worth but i like oldschool audio and i was gunna pare it with the pioneer tape player and jensen 8ow eqamp these aint a square basket with round cone, there acual square baskets with square cones, i cant even find a pic on google so i might have to take one myself
  13. i still like me some talk box lol
  14. i just use normal 18guage or so remote wire but when i work on something i just tape everything up to try and get rid of all the "what if's" so i dont mess anything up a $1 roll of electrical tape could save a few $'s worth of equitment
  15. cut the bare wire strands off the remote wire also cause this can cause a short also pulling the fuse does work but u never know when something can happin, ied just unhook the wire off the battery and zip tie it out of the way and you should be good and also tape up the ends of ur rcas also
  16. ive got lower bass notes from a box with inverted subs
  17. i got 5000k for my fogs and now im thinking about gettin 5000k 55w for my headlights i should have got them to begin with but the way my headlight houseings are fuked up i cant see with 55w or 35w lol how far do u want fogs to shine out? i got mine set to show most of whats in front of my truck so my headlights can take care of the rest now with my other driving lights i can mount them in back somewhere for back up lights
  18. they use led smd's for the new flood lights and there bright as shit, would make a killer alternative to hid tho like this video
  19. well i finally got them both working but i still got some weird ass issues with them tho ok i read off one site that i need to hook my small red wire to white wire and then to common for it to power on i did that but now my bigger red wires are pushing out 18.06v and are only suposto be doing 5.86v and my yellows are doing around 12.87v or so, dunno how many amps tho so my question is, if i run these like this will it burn something up because it only needs a load to cut it on and then the voltage will do its thing oh and i got some comp fans with this stuff too, my question is, i have a red, yellow, and black wire coming from each fan and im wondering how to get them to acually power on? there 12-28v fans and the wiring diagram goes as fallows, red=+12v, black=-neg, and yellow=sensing wire, how do i hook up something that needs a sensing wire for it to work, i want to use these in an amp rack but dunno how the hell to wire it, i can try something but i unno i have 12 fans and 2 15amp power supplies with some extra wireing too for a good price lol would like to make a small distplay with one of the power supplies and i dunno with the other one
  20. i still aint got it working right, it acts like it wants to power on but wont
  21. how do i rig up something like this? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pull-up_resistor i put a load on the red line and it acted like it wanted to come on but didn't what could be my problem or do i had a wrong load? i'll take pics of what im working on to see if it helps out tommrow
  22. this says to hook the white wire to red wire to get it to cut on, i'll go try that n see what happins
  23. so would i use the brown wire to black and then hook something up to the red wires? i checked the orange and black wire and i got 11.58v off the meter so i dunno would really love to get these to power on they have a power switch on front with a spot for the cord to plug in below the switch and a power on light on the far right side with the wireing harness comeing out from behind i tried every color combo i could find to get it to work and nothing is there a way to get it to come on without a load on 5v side? cause all i need is the 12v leads
  24. this aint one of those green wire to black wire and wala type shit ive tried everything i can think of and i cant seem to get it to power on i get 5.8v out of the red n black wire but from yellow and black i only get 3.8v and nothing higher, i dunno why please someone help me with this, i kno someone on here knows how server power supplys work
  25. well i went dumpster diving and found an oldass comp server they had at collage and i took parts out of it and when i power the power supply on i get 5.8v on red wire and 3.8v on yellow w/ common/black what wire do i need to hook up to get it to turn on, this is nothing like a regular comp power supply the wires i have are, red, purple, yellow, brown, orange, black, white what wires do i need to hook together to get it to power on? its a zytec cysco p1 600w server power supply it does 120-240 input and 5.2v=75amps, 12.2v=15amps, -12v=3amps, and 24v=5amp can someone help me with this? i have 2 of them, it says 900w power supply but it says total output power not to exceed 600w so i unno please help all u comp nerds out there lol
