they make a thing that u stick to a flat surface n its like some sort of diphram type deal and resonates threw the object n puts out sound that way, but it was only for midrange n higher freq's tho but how the hell will this work? i mean the back glass has to stay in place but how can it move to create bass output without breaking the seal? its a cool idea tho, and what if someone played basstronics - bass i love u n broke the back glass with it? will it be covered in some type of warenty?

i was gunna carpet the 5 sides of the box cept for the face of it n maby do somethin neat n shit i was gunna get those stick on letters from auto zone n trace it out on the carpet n then paint em with the red flextone paint they got at walmart n have em kinda recessed in the side of box but is this kinda overkill? i wanna try my hand at somethin real creative but not to much work that i cant get done?

haha cool, i useto work at a furniture factory staining furniture n puttin on lacker n repare so i dnt think paint will be that bad ima use some birch plywood we got layin around to build it wit, just tape off one side n paint if n then mask off the other n should work out fine i think, would u do a matte black or gloss black with a red flextone on top? i was gunna carpet 3/4 of the box n then paint the top with red flextone paint but i dnt want it to look like shit, n how would i do the carpet, just let it rest at the endge n then from there? or carpet the full box n just attach another baffle to resess the subs n fill in holes n paint that?

ya i got a sealed box n it sounds good on pritty much everything but i had to make the box bigger for it to play lower notes should i just try those subs @ 1cf each sence they only call for .5cf each? ima do a bitchin box, all i gotta do is find out wut color her interior is n its on from there might just do a plane carpet box with a lil amp rack or somethin

haha, i got 2 weeks mang im pritty fast on building things once i have soemthin to go buy, im gunna use 3/4 birch ply to build it out of i wish they was a good titorial on how to carpet a box so i can make it look professional, i was gunna recess the subs n paint the front n carpet the rest of box but i unno how that will turn out, i suck at the ends of a box i might staple it n just paint the staples so it hides em pritty good n just do it that way but i dont want it to look like shit the girl is acually pritty good lookin so i dnt want to let her down this is her car anyways i guess i'll start buildin as soon as i get a design n shit, i want it to look pro as hell, im thinkin about doin some stincleing n shit on back of box n cut out the black carpet n paint it the color of the car or somethin with maby gts in red or w/e color it is, i wanna make it have a custom touch n shit, ied fiberglass somethin but im not that good with it yet

we'll my friend took her car to bestbuy to have em hook up her system n she said it sounds like shit now, i put it in her saturn vue but due to transmition failer she got a 2002 toyota celica gts and im guessin she's still runnin the same stuff i got her so its 2 soundstream 10's, i unno they look like an older model thats dual 4ohm 500rms with i think a blue dustcap but black cone n chrome basket amp will be a bazooka 500d, pushes em pritty damn good i think i had em in a sealed devided box that was like 2cf total inverted cause hole wasnt big enough for basket to fit threw so i just did that for a quick job cause she had to go to work and it sounds awesome so im gunna just redo her a killer box n shit to make her happy, she listens to alot of rap, rock, n rnb so im thinkin somethin in the works of 35-36htz should do it nicely i need a simple ported box that will wang like all hell n not take up to much room n have good sq n i need measurements to go buy n i'll post build pics on here possably i suck ass at carpeting a box so i might just carpet 5 sides of it n paint the face of it wit flex stone i kno this is overkill for a girl but shes my wifes friend n i aint built shit for a good min so i wanna get my hands dirty again n hook up soem new shit help a fellow smd'er out fellas if i get a drawing and measurements i can duplicate it pritty much exactly how it is, hell might even put a toyota inbossed logo in it or somethin cool like that for the shit of it she's gunna be up here in 2 weeks so i got a while to build it n make it all purty n shit so lets get shit drew up so yall can get pics

i was wantin to do the same thing but the price on another stock 70amp alt plus dual alt bracket could i get a good 140+ amp alt for under 300 or right around there? i think a factory replacement for my 99 taco 3.4l v6 is around $200 i think n i need more amps so i can do somethin diff n was also thinkin bout this same kinda setup, but would u halfto wire the alt plug wires in parallel with the stock one n will this throw the computer off? wuts the pros n cons to doing this? i can already see the strain on the engin tryin to turn 2 alts but will it work better with just a single ho alt?

hmm, big 3 goes, battery pos to alt pos, battery neg to chassis, and chassis to engin, so should u run from battery neg to engin too to help flow threw to alt so i take it its a big 4 really, i got big 3 done but big 4 no and to get to chassis do u drill a hole in floor n run wire threw to frame? n will this help with stock shit? maby in a few yrs i'll run prolly 3,000w n 2 good 15's or somethin but will a bigger alt help on just 1000wrms? i got big 3 done n with 2 batteries i still get dimming lights on 1000wrms so i unno, headlights dont dim cause there hid but interior lights do
