that little box thing is ur cross over, it seperates the sounds comein from amp n makes em go to the right speakers the sound was made to, like mid/midbass to 6&1/2(or what ever size ur useing) and trebble n highs to the tweeter, if u run active u in the hense make ur own xover n tell witch speaker to play witch freq but this has to be done with a good eq but is more along thelines of a sq type setup do not run those sets of speakers without the xover installed or u will fry ur tweet due to lower freq's goin to it

lol, i worked in furniture for about 5years n got layed off dec 14th of last year n been goin back to school aug 17th i start my heating n air conditioning, and plumbing classes at collage so hopefully that will turn out for the better, lol, i went in n busted my hump every day, sometimes 6days a week, around 60hrs a week doin bs work, but its all good, im still drawin a check tho hope u get it all settled man, havein no job sucks big time

are hertz high energy's loud n clear,or mostly a moderately clear sound with good midbass? i want as loud as i can get clearly and keep up wit 2 15's with a memphis pr150.2 for mids n highs, im gunna go with hertz 6&1/2 comps in front, just 1 set, i tryed just one set of my kickers in front n got pritty much nowere with them, but ive never ran hertz, but my dude sells them and is gunna do a sound board soon so i can hear all the diff kinds of speakers n see what to choose from, im leanin more twards just a good or great set of mids n highs n maby my 2 8's ina good box n leave it at that, i was lookin at the 3way set they have but i forgot what kind, i was gunna do that but i unno, i just like a clean sound wit good midbass, imo a good mids n highs setup wit good midbass sounds better than most systems with loud bass n shitty mids i guess im gettin more n more into sq than anything else

is this how ppl can run 2 monitors to one pc? and i kno ur not susposto ask off topic questions in a f/s thread but, if i was to add a 5.1 sound card in my comp will it play 5.1 all the time or just stuff thats already decoded?

i unno, aint he got 24 12's? n 8 18's, i think 24 12's has more cone area, n tommy already does 160's on music, but steve built this thing to wang anything with sq to boot so its not really a fair game, tommy has his flex truck were steve has his mobile concert hall lol
