ya, ive owned pritty much every series of mtx sub made and i love the 8000s, the 7000's was beafy as hell to, i had a 7000 12 that had a messed up spider n still hit like a set of half decent 15's, i had the old road thunder 10, 4000 10,12, 15, 4500 15 d4, 5500 12 single 4, 15 dual 4, 6000 8 dual 4, 15 single 4, 7000 12 single 8ohm, 8000 12 single 4, and 15 single 4 and i love there subs and there pritty tough to

i got mtx 8000 15's and im runnin 400rms to each of em ina sealed downfire and they get down really good, hit lows, and anything else u want to throw at em, if anything see how much they want for them 10's, ied love to have em, are they the chrome ones or the silver? cause they made 2 diff versions of them, the silver 8000 15 will handle 1500peak, 750rms, chrome will handle 500rms 1000peak, i got the chrome ones, and i love em to, the 10's are 800w i think so ied put a good 250-300rms to each of em and they will get the job done, u can look at my build for pics, and i got a couple vids but there kinda shitty, im still learnin how to take good vids n what knot

i got an idea, strap 2 4000bd's to 1 btl n play (put on - young jeezy) n see what they do, and make sure to video tape that ish, each sub seein bout 10,000wrms would be some cool shit for scot to see, and if they dont break then i unno man fi ftmfw!!

ive seen this befor and i think its cool shit that duct work can be used in car audio, and i bet it dont get that much turbulance but it needs some dampening tho to keep it from shakeing and help resonate the freq's better, and it would be cool shit to put a old jl w7 as a passave radiator on the other side to

is ur power wire 8guage? and i unno but u cant wire 4 single 4ohm subs to 2ohms, only 4 and 1ohm, and if its 1ohm on stock electrical ied be careful not to clip that amp n fry them subs, ied either get a cap, or a cheap extra battery, or ateast a good starter battery, or big 3, but all in all those sonys sound good man, nice job, and i keep tinkering with my stereo to lol

well ive been haveing trouble for the past month or so with my truck not wanting to start when i turn the key, and sometimes when it does start the started gets stuck on the flywheel and backfeeds threw everything and wont shut off and it scares the hell out of me sometimes , i got the big 3 done (the right way in 0guage), 2 batterys, a good starter battery and a stinger sp800 back battery for electrical so im good there, so is it a bad switch or starter? and another thing, its affecting my neon under my truck, ive got 3 3ft tubes and 1 4ft, one 4ft broke so all i could find at the time was 3ft, there slow glow with a street glow 9,500v transformer, its wired to a toggle switch to the acc wire so they go off when switch is turned off, well with switch on acc they come on and stay on, i can tap the bulbs lightly and they still stay on, but when i crank my truck and baraly tap em they cut off, i dont get this and it took me about 4 hrs in all to take off my honda and put on my truck so i want em to work , everythings connected correctly so thats not the problem, and the light on the swtich (the rocker switch lights up red) stays on but the lights go out, i dont get this anyone kno about any of the 2 questions? and could the first be affecting the 2nd? please help

you can look at my build n see how it looks, im pritty good with tools, i just wanna kno if it will get louder with a diff box? i listen to alot of country, rock, rap, rnb so i need somethin efficent, what i have now is but im just useto it i guess, i unno, i was thinkin bout doin my 5500's ina upfire sealed box but i unno, this downfire gets pritty damn loud and sounds great doin so, i did have a set of rf punch he2 12's in there ina upfire ported box ran from a mtx500d and it didn't get all that loud, i unno, i want somethin thats loud, gets down, and sounds good doin so, ive got that so far but i unno if it could get better?

or could someone scetch me up one? this is where it's goin, this is an 03 but looks identical to mine

x2, i got kicker ks 6&1/2 comps in front, and kicker ks 6&1/2 coax with q-power tweets in back ran from a memphis 150.2 and i cant turn it past 1/4 or im drounding out the bass, and they dont distort eather, just look at settings and try to adjust em till its what u want, and works alot better with a external amp to, im givein mine 150rms and there lovein it
