  1. It is a 38 holding the hood open. While Justin was swapping the motors on this thing, I was actually working. I was stripping vinyl off a customers door panels that I will be 'glassing and that bullet fell out of one of the map pockets. Gotta love FL.
  2. On my RC car! Tonight, Justin (01xtreme), came to the shop so I had him mess with the RC. He took the tiny ass motor out of mine and we swapped in a bigger one from a much faster car. It wasn't easy. Had to heat and swap out gears and drill new holes. Hard to do on all that small stuff. For me it was anyways. We got the motor in and it worked.............for a little while. With no set screw to secure the gear on the shaft, I tried CA glue. I will use JB Weld or something on it next time. But for the most part, it moved forward and spun the tires. It has a smaller motor at each wheel for the suspension. It has front and back and side to side. I want to make it just front and back. Thinking a bigger motor in the center so I can get it to go up and down faster. I am kinda lost on how to do this right now. But I have zero experience in RC's. If you have experience, and extra parts around that aren't gonna do you any good, feel free to donate them to our shop play time. PM me for address. PLEASE. Here are some pics of tonights work.........
  3. Been ahile since I posted in this thread. Zoie is quite the lap dog. I was looking thru the lastest issue and my boy snapped a pic...............
  4. Here are some pics I took of this pile as it was getting filmed for an upcoming video.......................
  5. Apparently yes. I thought it was 06 and I knew he had the last year of the 1 1/2. Wanted to give it as much as a factory look as I could. Some of the others I have seen were just really straight across. No flow to them.
  6. Some smoothing out and some color match and texture, you end up with a stock looking part. In these pics, the clear coat needs to be dulled down so it will be scuffed and recleared with a satin finish Thursday. But other than it be slightly too shiney, it looks damn nice.......
  7. Then I use some Evercoat MAXIM urethane to blend the parts all together.............(yep, thats me working)............
  8. They come factory with DIN and a half. RRRyan (coinslot), cut the divider between the HVAC controls and moved it down and relocated the mounts for the HVAC controls. Some ABS peices were CA'd to take up some of the space left between the new HU and the bezel. Here are a couple test fit shots before the work get underway........
  9. The good news is that KP Componets makes a nice rear kit for that truck that rides great. The 6 link kit is basically bolt on. Weld in the notches and go. The front is a bag and cup set-up. My rough guess, to have a shop do it, $6k. I might be off though. As for difficulty......can you weld? Notches definatly need to be welded in. You need to raise the gas tank. Probally the tranny tunnel will need some work. Relocate some stuff under the hood for tire clearance depending on what size wheels you choose to use. Wiring up compressors, valves and plumbing the tanks to the bags. Extending the fuel lines and possibly the rear brake lines. Some electrical extensions for the tailllights and such. It's all the smaller overlooked stuff that ends up costing you due to time.
  10. Probally thinking you needed the best looking dash in the area. But hey, it looks ok for a 4 door. It's no 2 door thats for sure.
  11. There is an old pic I forgot all about. Justins s10 black, Nates c10 on 22's, yours on push power. And I think that was right before mine came to the shop. For a simple bag job at that. Now look at it. Bad influences you are.
  12. Backtrack his photobucket account and it is set to private. BUT, I googled his username and came up with his YouTube, MySpace, PutFile accounts. His name is Chris. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=c...G=Google+Search
  13. Took these off my 97 Blazer since I got around to installing my tubulars. Painted a Metalcast SIlver and has normal wear from sitting around and being on a rolling frame. Never driven on. Prefer local pick-up, but shipping is possible. Picked up....... $75 Shipped .........$150 Reply here, PM me or email me at evilempire43@earthlinkDOTnet
  14. 1st thing I would listen for is the sound of the motor that tightens the trnk down once you close it. Yours does that right? I think all caddies do. If no sound, check that. Next thing to check would be the actuall seals on the trunk. If either of those 2 are the issues, water wouldn't just run in when raining but moisture over time could seap in and cause the issues you speak of.
  15. He joined fiberglassforums this morning. AND paid for 2 months to have his banner at the top of the page. Aint that some shit?
