  3. Alright sorry for my infant like comprehension. I was at work. I do see the difference; it's actually quite clear. Thanks much for the help!
  4. Thanks for the help. I'm a tad confused though. Is it the same one as the sonic website? I think it said something about being an m3. I guess the question I need is: will it take 1000 Watts rms? That's the only reason I'm looking at it. Otherwise I'll get a second type r or a w7 or something else...
  5. He acts like he doesn't have it. He bought it from a guy that told him it was a mojo. but someone else told him it wasn't, so he's not sure. If I can't figure it out, I'll take a scale and weigh it. Sonic says it weighs 43 pounds.
  6. I have the opportunity to buy what I believe is a Memphis Mojo 12" dual 2 ohm sub in a custom box for a JL Audio 13W7 with a plate for the 12". He originally lists this sub (Memphis) as a mojo, but when I asked him if he still had it, he said it wasn't a mojo. He sent me pictures and as near as I can tell, it's a mojo. It has an orange basket with the M shape. Has a good sized motor with bolts in it, which I have been told (by the internet...) that it is a mojo. This is what I believe it is: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_10346_Memphis-15-M3MOJO12.html Here are actual pictures including the basket and cone: Basket: http://www.4shared.com/photo/u3qLcCuQ/2012-06-0195221200.html Cone/Front: http://www.4shared.com/photo/u93cX1lg/2012-06-0395163231.html Is this at all correct?: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20120307181646AAsNGGO Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know him personally so I didn't get an inside deal. I know he had some DLS UP6 and some Rainbow SLC for pretty cheap. Not sure what headunits he carries.

  8. I figured as such. Thanks. Actually went with the MB Quart ONX125.4. Had some really good reviews, 4 channels, and alot of power for the dollar. When it's time to upgrade subs, I'll for sure be getting DD.
  9. Is this a good amp? I've heard nothing but good things about DD and wonder if this amp lives up to its brand. It'll be running a pair of Hertz HSK 165. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks
  10. JL Audio e1400d 320 watts rms @ 4 ohms 14.4 volts 500 watts rms @ 2 ohms 14.4 volts
  11. Saw that one the other day. That one is the dream, but not practical in the near future. Besides the 4 volt vs 2 volt preamps, I assume the Alpine still sounds better (ie less distortion) because of the processor/digital to analog converter is better. Is that true? I don't know the super technical specs to look for on head units. Thanks
  12. I have a Sony HU in my truck. I've had it for 1.5 yrs, and have no complaints. It is still running stock speakers which are soon to be upgraded. Here is a link to the exact model: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_158GT700HD/Sony-Xplod-CDX-GT700HD.html?tp=5684&nvpair=FFBrand%7cSony 1) My question: am I losing any SQ with this over say an Alpine or other higher end HU. I was looking at this Alpine: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500CDE123/Alpine-CDE-123.html?tp=5684&nvpair=FFBrand%7cAlpine 2) How would the sound of these compare? I'll have my speakers and sub all separately amplified and the Alpine has 4 volt preamps. Thanks for the help.
