Well the subs have 8 gauge wire terminals and the amps do too so im just gonna run the 8 gauge

well The wire did fall off so maybe in the process it got to the tip of the clip and heated up that plus it's small wire

its monster cable wire 14 guage maybe I mean it seems big enough. But the plastic melted of the female end i don't think it should get that hot

I have 2 12 in Memphis mojos with 2 hifonics 2000d's going to each. I noticed one sub wasn't working so I took it out and noticed the speaker one of the wires fell off inside the box and the rubber and plastic was melted off and black..what would cause this?

Yea all my wire is upgraded to 0 gauge under the hood and in the back. Im probability gonna fab up a bracket and put another alternator. Because in the future im putting 2 more mojos and 2 more 2000d's so ill need 2 alternators and maybe like 4 batteries in the back
