  1. If you are going to ask for advice and do what you want to do anyway, Why even ask? Do subs forward and side port the thing!
  2. It looks like you have enough room to point them forward and side port the box to the driver side.

  4. Just got word from Jacob that he has a new 4000 watt amp. This amp is not under rated like the Saz line. Does 4000 at 14.4. This amp IS NOT .5 ohm stable and does not have a pass thru\ strapping feature. Also this amp will not run on a 16 volts. Amp controls are only and gain setting and a frequence setting. If you order between NOW and the end of April... $475 for one $450 for two (each) $435 for four or more (each) Email Jacob for more details.
  5. Sounds like you need to seal off your 6 by 9's.... or take them out.
  6. X2 I got to the point were I was only focusing on me and getting my life straight. I didn't want any gf or even look for a gf. In about a month (still not looking) I ended up meet this girl... and well long story short... I ended up marrying her, been together for ten years now.
  7. Contact a local dealer or rep for best pricing. http://sundownaudio.com/dealers.html Derrick824 (on here) is the closest to you. I think??
  8. Nightshade do just fine playing music.
  9. Could also use a line out put converter.
  10. Buy some RCA Y's from Radioshack if your amp doesn't have a pass thru.
  11. Nightshades are 1500 rms, Z15's are 1000 rms
  12. Damn, that low of a freq. to do a hairtrick. My car peaks at 40hz, tuned 32-33ish.
  13. You are my hero man!!!! One of my goals is to do a good hairtrick with my car.
  14. For an 18, about 4 cubic feet and two 6 inch aero ports, not sure about the square inches for a slot port. maybe around 70 square inches.
  15. An Saz-1000 or Sae-1200 is the ticket!!! Here some info on the Sae-1200 SAE-1200D sale pricing for $350 is back again until the end of March. These amps are starting to gain in popularity and we really want to see some more customers post up reviews on them, so we are bringing the sale price back. You can contact your favorite dealer OR Paypal us directly at [email protected] to order! These are under-rated amps and can produce 1500 watts RMS @ 1 ohm --- The SAE-1200D is the first in the new generation of "SAE" line amplifiers from Sundown Audio designed to offer the best value possible. 16. you will get rid of about 90% of the rattles pointing the sub(s) forward
  17. Okay, on the one 18. But i have one last thought for you... My next box is going to be 31 wide by 16.5 tall by 28 deep with two 6 inch aero ports, tuning would be around 33 hz. the subs will be on the 31 inch side pointed forward and side ported. That would work in your trunk as well and it will still leave you with some room in your trunk. Even if you go with one 18, I still recommend pointing the sub forward. Either way, best of luck to a fellow trunk guy.
